Turtle Town is a unique series of underwater lava formations where Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles gather, and an opportunity to view these graceful animals in their natural environment. Both sites offer a wide variety of colorful tropical fish and other unique marine animals. SNUBA is also available onboard for *an additional charge*. Swim up close with beautiful marine life in a safe, controlled environment 15 feet beneath the surface, under the care of our expert Maui SNUBA instructors. With over 40 years of experience, we understand the needs of our guests and strive to exceed your expectations. We provide breakfast, lunch cooked onboard, and an open bar after snorkeling, featuring ice cold micro brewed beer, wines from Napa, and mai-tais. Kids of all ages, love our super water slide!

Snorkeling was ok. Not as many fish as I imagined. We snorkeled off the beach at our hotel and saw more fish and turtles.. Staff was excellent and captain was very knowledgeable and got us on Some whales so that was a bonus. The weather didn’t allow for turtle town so that was disappointing.
Elua to the crater and turtle town was an amazing experience

Pride of Maui Elua was a beautiful boat with hot showers and full size bathrooms. The crew was delightful, helpful, informative, and fun throughout the entire adventure. The captain, Justin, interacted with us even taking our request to sail around the crater as well as taking time to hang with humpback whales. The whole crew was so helpful with the kids when they were hesitant to go in the water when the reef shark was seen (so awesome!). The meals were quite good and can you say open bar!?! Such a great way to spend a half-day. Highly recommend!

Snorkeling at crater was good. Instructions for beginners, excellent. Turtle town was a disappointment, most seeing one or no turtles. Suggestion: On another turtle snorkeling outing I was on, the guide was in the water with us telling us where and when a turtle was spotted. But note, that location was way better....more shallow. Turtle town is not worth the time.

Justin and his crew were amazing and everything about the experience was first rate. We did the Elua Luxury Molokini and Turtle Town Snorkel Tour and even from the moment that we booked over the phone and had our questions answered, we were well taken care of. During the excursion, we saw lots of whale activity and some dolphins; we snorkled at the Molokini Crater, had lunch (prepared by the crew) and then snorkled at a second spot where we saw a family of turtles swimming around. But truly, it was our interactions with Justin and his crew that made our experience memorable. A few things to note if you are considering this tour: 1. Don't book with any other outfit, I can't stress enough, Justin and his crew are the best. 2. Be prepared for the possibility of motion sickness. I am prone to motion sickness, so I came prepared with some remedies. My husband is not prone to motion sickness and he found himself in rough shape. 3. This boat is beautiful and clean and really comfortable with a good amount of open air space and also a good amount of sheltered space. 4. Everything is really provided for you - the "what to bring" list is accurate, just follow that and you will be fine. 5. Did I mention the staff? They are experts and really know their stuff. Trust them and ask them your questions.

let me start of with the fact that i’m writing this review to HELP SOMEONE OUT. i also want to preface with the fact that the tour was NOTHING SHORT OF AMAZING. period staff service and excursion. would do all over again. HOWEVER- i want to make sure that anyone who is booking this trip and is directed to park at the harbor in the gravel lot(pride of maui staff tells u to park here) ($1 per hour pay to park by QR code) PLEASE BE CAREFUL AND ADJUST THE TIME OF THE BOOKING FOR THE WHOLE TIME YOU WILL BE PARKED THERE. me and 3 other families cars were towed and we spent $60 in an uber( were gave the wrong address by the towing company- beach and towing recovery company- which ARE HORRIBLE RUDE NOT HELPFUL AND ONLY WANTED THEIR $$) we all paid to park but the QR code only gives u 3 options of times to pay to park -none of which fit our tour time. we all got towed. $200 tour $60 uber and $180 towing fees. nice last day on vacation. (: there goes one of our excursions. just writing this so it don’t happen to someone else

Everything about this excursion was amazing. The crew were fantastic and so nice! They gave extra attention to each guest and made for a really special trip. The boat is clean, large and new! The bathrooms did not feel like your typical excursion bathrooms!! The snorkeling was amazing and I felt well prepared. I have been on other snorkeling trips but none like this! Great sites of Molokini crater and Turtle Cove. We even saw whales ! The crew is so knowledgeable and very willing to answer questions. The food was delicious , well prepared and presented. I cannot say enough about what a wonderful experience this was !

RUN TO BOOK THIS TOUR! Amazing experience all around! We booked with another couple who had never been to Hawaii and this literally made the trip for all of us! You get what you pay for— top notch service food was amazing had fresh Mahi. Bar was great - fresh drinks made in front of you. I’ve been on carribean cruises and paid same amount and got nowhere near the service. The captain stopped the tour so we could see some whales which are amazing to see so early in the season! We had casually mentioned we were celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary and the crew went out of their way to acknowledge it- even gave us a hand written card signed by everyone. Just top notch all around. Cleanest ship I’ve been on for a day cruise! Again we are so happy we booked with them- and we’ve done a fair amount of traveling!

Really beautiful boat and great crew! We had so much fun! Lunch was delicious. We will do this trip again each time we come to Maui! Open bar after lunch but do yourself a favor and get a virgin cocktail. Drinking after a morning of snorkeling doesn't lead to a great rest of your day. Book with these folks, it's worth it.

We went on this tour the first week of December. The advertising and information about the tour certainly made it seem like we were going to be able to see a variety of sea life, possibly turtles and possibly whales. We were not expecting to see whales but off in the distance, while traveling from the harbor to the crater, we did see some whales surfacing. When we arrived at our location, getting into the water was seamless and simple. The prep work was done well in advance and everyone was prepared. What wasn't as we were expecting were the fish. We were in the water almost 40 minutes and only saw some black surface fish swimming near the boat. The water was calm, we were grateful for that but there were virtually no fish to see. We aren't sure if that was because so many other boats were also in the area, plus people diving and others doing Snuba, but there were a few hundred people all in one area looking for fish. This was tough with kids because they had high hopes of seeing colored fish swimming around as they snorkeled. We got out of the water, got warm in the sun and began making our way to Turtle Town, the second part of the trip. In route, lunch was served and again, this was efficient, well organized and the food was good! We arrived in the area where snokeling for turtles was happening and again, getting into the water was simple and we were able to move around easily. What we expected based on information we read was that this area had plentiful turtles and other colorful fish. We were able to see some different fish here, more than the first place we stopped, but they were also not plentiful. We saw one sea turtle swimming about 20 yards from us, he was headed out to deeper waters, but we were glad to see one. Unfortunately after seeing that one, no other turtles were around. Clearly the crew and captain can't control the fish - it's part of nature. If we went again, we would try for a different location or possible a different time of day. The crew and the food were great, but the fish were a little disappointing.
