this was our 4th Lua we have attended. out of the 4 I would rank this at 2. a bit pricey, but well worth the cost. The attention to having the show ready after a down portion was fantastic! All was ready and the detail in doing so was awesome to make for anenjopyable show. Food was not the greatest, but show was well worth it

Food was good, kids loved the performances and tattoos! The bathrooms were super crowded and line caused me to miss a whole segment of the performance.

Very disappointing. The food was good but this was more of buffet style wedding food. The roast pig was actually shredded pork. The show was really slow. I was surprised after reading the reviews. It was all just a slow songs and a ukulele. The drinks were cheap liquor and tasted bad. We left early.

(This review was written by me, not an AI generator.) My family wanted a buffet, which left us with two choices on Maui. ChatGPT said this one was a little lacking on the food, but doing my own scan of reviews, I found that they both had good/bad comments. We found the food to be quite well done. The location was nice, on a nice grassy field, which is why we ultimately choose this venue. My wife was very happy with the choice: food, drinks, atmopshere, etc. I also have a sesame allergy, which the TripAdvisor site didn't ask about. I contacted the venue directly, and they were very careful to come by during the pre-dinner time to ask about my severity (i.e. possible cross-contamination) and then explained which dishes contained sesame. When booking directly, their site does actually ask about allergies, which is how I knew to contact them. (Suggestion for Trip Advisor bookings.) The Mai Tai's were not watered down. I personally wish the show was longer, but the kids thought it was a good length. I was surprised that booking direct with the venue incurred a $50 booking fee, vs. going through Trip Advisor. The one big negative from the experience was the parking. The venue tells you to use a QR code for validated parking ($2 vs. $30+), but I started the registration process using the QR in the garage, instead of waiting to arrive at the venue where there apparently is a different code. I was unable to get the website to recognize the validation code, and would have had to pay the full price. The on-site manager for the venue said to talk to the person in the parking booth, but when we exited, there was no one there. After a week of being home, the parking company finally responded to my repeated emails (6, I think).

FOOD was amazing and can't beat the setting! I've done a Luau once before and the food was mid...Not this one! The FOOD selection was AMAZING and waitors went around ahead of time checking on allergies, VERY well put together!

The show and the atmosphere were very good. The food was plentiful but just average. Ask ahead about parking. We self-parked for a $23 charge and found out later we could have had valet parking at no charge.

A little pricey, but everything on the island is. The performance was amazing, food yummy. Family friendly, free parking. Not 5 stars due to me leaving feeling price was too high after the fact.
