We welcome you to the one and only Maui Pineapple Tour! Situated in the historic town of Hali'imaile, this unique tour offers an insiders look at Maui's past and present pineapple cultivation. During your tour, our professional guides will lead you through the working pineapple farm and packing facility while sampling Maui's sweetest fruit!

Suitable for all physical fitness levels
Guests need to be able to climb the 3 steps on and off of the mini coach, stand for 20 minutes at a time.
3 year minimum age for all children. No refunds will be given to parties that arrive with children under 3.
There is no additional space on the bus to store walkers/wheelchairs.
Cancellation Policy
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

5.00We weren't sure what to expect when booking this tour. We ended up really enjoying ourselves and got to hear the entire history of Maui Gold Pineapple and how the Hawaiian Islands used to provide 90% of the pineapples in the world. Now it's less than 10%. Maui used to have 10,000 acres of pineapples, now it's just ~700 acres rotated 350 acres at a time. During the tour we got to eat several samples of fresh pineapple picked right from the field. It is the juiciest and sweetest pineapple I have ever tasted. 10/10 You get to take one pineapple home per person at the end of the tour. We got those boxes through the airport without any issues. It is the only agricultural product legally allowed out of the Hawaiian Islands on commercial flights. Precious cargo for sure. We ate pineapples one week and two weeks out, and they were still just as good as the ones picked right from the field. Culturally these tours are extremely important. Not only do they allow the Maui Gold Pineapple company to continue to operate, this also gives you an opportunity to see firsthand how important and unique the pineapple is to the Hawaiian people and the original islands that still or used to produce them.

4.00We thoroughly enjoyed our Maui Pineapple farm tour. Shout out to Colton for being a great guide. We learned about the complete processing from farm to product and what differentiates the Maui Gold pineapples. We especially appreciated learning about what to look for when buying a (multiple fruit/berry) pineapple and the proper way to handle them. It was nice going out into the fields even though it was off-season. We enjoyed our boxed pineapples while still in Hawaii and they were delicious!
