What To Expect
Snorkel at two exceptional locations aboard the largest Maxi Power Catamaran on Maui operating at just 60% of our Coast Guard capacity. Pride of Maui is the most stable, spacious tour boat, offering far more space per passenger, and unsurpassed guest service. Molokini Crater offers unparalleled visibility, and is a unique opportunity to visit 1 of only 3 sunken volcanic calderas in the entire world. Turtle Town is a unique series of underwater lava formations where Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles gather, and an opportunity to view these graceful animals in their natural environment. Both sites offer a wide variety of colorful tropical fish and other unique marine animals. SNUBA is also available onboard for *an additional charge*. Swim up close with beautiful marine life in a safe, controlled environment 15 feet beneath the surface, under the care of our expert Maui SNUBA instructors. With over 40 years of experience, we understand the needs of our guests and strive to exceed your expectations. We provide breakfast, lunch cooked onboard, and an open bar after snorkeling, featuring ice cold micro brewed beer, wines from Napa, and mai-tais. Kids of all ages, love our super water slide!

5.00We didn’t get to go to Turtle Town because of the recent floods but I highly recommend the snuba at the Molokini Crater. Great experience for those who have never done scuba but want something a little more than snorkeling.

5.00Great location, good food. The best part is the crew. Captain Patrick was very knowlegable. Life guarda Jim was great explaining all the tupes of fish we saw. Julie and Maddie also Great. Made for a memorable fun family day.

5.00My family had a fantastic time snorkeling at Molokini crater and turtle town. Had some great whale watching on our way which was a bonus. The crew was amazing, super attentive and gracious. The food was great and the boat was very nicely appointed. If you don’t want to be crowded or feel overwhelmed, pick this luxury tour. Well worth the extra money. I’d go again if I had more time! Both my kids (11 and 15) said it was the best.

5.00It was a dark and rainy day, but still filled with fun. We saw quite a few whales, and our captain shared his knowledge about whales with us. All the staff was very supportive and helpful. I chose to just swim, but the rest of our group snorkeled. Eventually the sun broke through. All in all a great day.
Good time, but with less people it would be great.

5.00Best time EVER! The crew was amazing. You start with a continental breakfast then cruise to your first swim while enjoying the beautiful sea and mountains. We saw whales breaching which, was so special. We were provided with wet suits and additional floatation devices in addition to a quick class on how to breath properly while snorkeling. Back on board, we had a great lunch of hamburgers/hot dogs ect then off to our second swim with the sea turtles which was magical. The whole time, the crew maintained our safety with their own lifeguard in the water for us. On the way back, limited open bar was available and cookies! The whole day was exceptional and the weatherwas perfect.

5.00Wow! Amazing day on the water. Saw lots of whales 🐋, turtles 🐢, a few dolphins 🐬, and lots of 🐟 fish. Molokini was great but turtle town blew me away. Very well run and the entire crew and captain were top notch. Very well planned agenda, perfect amount of time for snorkeling/swimming, sightseeing, dining, and cocktails 🍸 Will absolutely do it again, during our next visit to Maui 🩵 My only recommendation is to mention on the website, that men with mustaches really should shave to get the full snorkeling experience-or- offer goggles and nose plugs as another option. I felt bad for my hubby who would've shaved if we knew how much it would hinder his experience. Other than that we (especially me) had an amazing time.

5.00We had the perfect day for snorkeling at Molokini and Turtle Town locations. The seas were calm and the sky was clear. The captain stopped or paused our movement when whales appeared close by, so we could enjoy them, which was appreciated. The Pride of Maui crew kept us well-informed of our options and were helpful. The breakfast was pretty minimal, but it was enough. Lunch was fantastic. Some guests took advantage of having multiple burgers, chicken or hotdogs. Drinks were OK. Going on the slide into the water was fun as well. It was a great tour overall.
