Your journey begins in a quiet corner of paradise, far from the crowded jetties, close to nature : Chantauvent, our family-run guest house, where generations of our family have lived in deep connection with this beautiful bay.
Ile aux Aigrettes Nature Reserve
Unlike the mainland which is of volcanic origin, Ile aux Aigrettes is made up of coralline limestone. It is home to the last remnants of dry coastal forest, once found around most of Mauritius.

5.00Amazing day out on the water. Saw turtles, dolphins, monkeys and waterfalls. The skipper Luca is a total legend and knows the lagoon like the back of his hand. 3 course meal was simple but exquisite. You cant go wrong with this trip. Highly recommend. Good vibes all day.

5.00Thank you for such an incredible day! Our Five Island speedboat tour in Mauritius turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. Everything was perfectly arranged—from the smooth coordination to the wonderful experiences out on the ocean. A very special thanks to Luka, who was absolutely fantastic throughout the trip. He was warm, patient, and especially lovely with our kids, making sure they felt comfortable and enjoyed every moment of the adventure. His friendly nature and professionalism truly made the day even more memorable for our family. From the thrilling speedboat ride to snorkeling in crystal-clear waters and visiting the beautiful lighthouse and islands, every moment felt special. It was the perfect mix of adventure, scenery, and family fun. Please do convey our heartfelt thanks to Luka once again for making this experience so enjoyable for all of us. 5.00Although the day didn’t start well — when we arrived, we were told that the boat’s engine was broken and that we would have to wait for another boat — we started to have doubts about our choice. But then JP arrived, and everything changed. The mood instantly lifted. The places we visited were shown thoroughly and with care. It turned into a great experience overall. JP was amazing, and his energy made the whole trip truly enjoyable. Perfect day. Totally recommended.

5.00The skipper’s knowledge was excellent both in explanations when piloting without excluding the benevolence of everyone. Towards customers but also fauna and flora . . I highly recommend it.

5.00We are a family of 4 and made a day by boat with skipper, privatizing the boat. Exceptional day, our most beautiful day in Mauritius! We left from the tip of Esny with snorkeling stops, Île aux Aigrettes, Île au Phare, waterfall and Île aux Cerfs in a not too touristy part. We also saw along the way a turtle, dolphins... Our skipper Luka was super friendly and super flexible. The boat was large, comfortable and very beautiful. All for 350 Eur for us 4 (for a privatized boat, without lunch - we had our picnic- but with unlimited drinks) for a day from 9:30 to 16:00 with plenty to see. Super Welcoming at the departure gite of the boat: a small drink offered before departure and a room loaned so that we can change on the return, before taking the car again. A 100% successful day and a great memory!

5.00Favourite experience so far in Mauritius it was a great day on the water that included: lagoon swims, locally made passion-fruit rhum with lunch, coral-garden snorkelling, a ghostly shipwreck, and the Grand River South East waterfall. Luca’s a fantastic skipper and supplies drinks + gear. Bring swimwear and a power bank so you don’t miss the photos. 10/10 must-do especially if you are in Blue Bay!
