Our Mayan ruins tour was absolutely amazing. We were picked up right on time, and everything from start to finish was well organized and smooth. We visited three different Mayan sites, and our guide Alfredo was outstanding. He was extremely knowledgeable and able to answer all of our questions with ease. Alfredo was very helpful throughout the day and had such a friendly, impressive attitude. He gave detailed explanations about the country, the people, and the history, which made the experience even more meaningful. We also took tons of pictures, and he happily became our photographer for the day, which we truly appreciated. Our driver, Jorge, was also fantastic. He was very kind and made sure we got everywhere safely and comfortably. For anyone curious about the transportation, the van was in excellent condition with very comfortable seats and plenty of legroom. We were lucky that it was just us on the tour, but even with more people, it would have still been very comfortable. I would absolutely take this tour again and highly recommend it to anyone wanting to explore the Mayan ruins with knowledgeable and friendly guides.

I personally love it because I'm a history fan. I was traveling solo but there was a band with me, which I preferred: So more questions, more exchanges, more learning!

It was a very nice day with guide Alfredo Diaz. He has told a lot about ruins everywhere and also a small section about the old center of Santa Ana. This tour is definitely worth it if you want to learn about the ancient history of El Salvador.

Visit Cerén, San Andrés and Tazumal. They are very emblematic Mayan sites. We were also in Santa Ana and Lake Coatepeque. The experience was very complete and Mr. Alfredo Diaz was excellent guide and knowledgeable about history.

Excellent all day tour to three significant Maya ruins with guide Raul and driver William. The sites have some information in English, but Raul really provided a lot of background information about the Maya and the region in general. Raul was open to taking questions about anything, which helped pass the time during the long drive (there is lots of traffic!). We stopped for lunch around noon at a restaurant with a gorgeous view of Coatepeque lake. Prices were reasonable and there are seafood and non-seafood options. Communication about the booking was great throughout. The tour was confirmed by email when first booked, and the pickup time was confirmed again via WhatsApp the day before the tour.

We had a great time today with Alfredo and the group. It was great to see multiple archaeological sites (Tazumal was the most visually impressive) as well as Santa Ana’s downtown area, and he was very knowledgeable and friendly. The lunch location was also great, with a stunning view of Lake Coatepeque. We really enjoyed the day!

Very informative, Alfredo Diaz was my guide and there were a total of 5 people in the group. I liked that the van was roomy because it takes some time to travel between the 3 archeological sites. We had a late lunch at the end which I prefer because I typically get sleepy after eating. The whole group was in agreement with doing lunch after we had done the site seeing but Alfredo asked us first and then let us decide. Alfredo took great photos and knew where to get the best shots.
