We chose to do a private tour with Carlos because we didn’t want to waste time in a group or wait for others—and it turned out to be the best decision. Carlos is an excellent guide: always punctual, very professional, and flexible. He adapted the tour to our needs and helped us avoid the crowds. We arrived very early in Comuna 13, which allowed us to take beautiful photos without other people around. By the time we finished, it had become very crowded, and we’re sure we wouldn’t have enjoyed it as much otherwise. The tour included the cable car ride and a visit related to Pablo Escobar. Carlos shared very interesting stories about that period and answered all our questions with great detail. He also surprised us with coffee and local ice cream, which was a lovely touch. On top of that, he even sent us drone videos from Comuna 13 and the Pablo Escobar neighborhood—such an amazing and unexpected memory to take home. We highly recommend this private tour, especially if you want to avoid crowds and have a more personalized experience.

The best tour and the only way to see the whole Medellín and I mean everything. Our guide Carlos was amazing from history knowledge to going above and beyond adding lots of extras such as Pablo Museum where we met his Pablo God daughter and got signed shot glasses. There is no way we could have seen or done any of this without Carlos, his English was perfect and we gained a friend.
