Firstly, this is not a spectacular castle as advertised but a modern construction void of any atmosphere. When you get close, there are no posted directions if you self drive, , and you enter a dark, bleak room waiting to be seated. Firstly we entered a large room with tables, no explanation or service of any kind, then to be moved to the main hall , with teams on opposite side . The food was dreadful, bland, tasteless and just disgusting. Although the knights performed well, the supporting cast were poor and you cant help to feel upset at how the horses are asked to perform at speed in close confine with loud noise ongoing throughout, when you look closely at the horses faces and eyes they do seem distressed. Maybe fun for preteens but for anyone else no. Would definitely not recommend,

The show was amazing 😍 Food was okay. We arrived at 18:30 and left at about 21:30. Very fun, the second half of the show was a little repetitive, so by the end it felt a bit long.

The show was good however the food was good awful, which is an understatement. It was just like prison food & it was dishes out with the same level of expertise, just dropped on your plate. If you do go, don't expect much, I think they keep the lights extra low so you cannot see the rubbish they are dishing out.

We absolutely loved the San Miguel Medieval Show! The atmosphere, performances, costumes, and storytelling were fantastic from start to finish and really transported us back in time. The entertainment was engaging for all ages and well worth the visit. The only small downside was the food, which could be improved, but it didn’t take away from the overall experience. A brilliant evening and highly recommended!

Apparently thee only castle in tenerife an how stunning it truly is..very picturesque.."king & queen " greet you on arrival for a photo opportunitie as you enter the castle which you later purchase for 10€..they come and offer you during your meal..you get given a bib to wear as you enter deciding which team your on or weather your v.i.p...but v.i.p or not you get treated the same so don't see difference other than price ..we paid v.i.p and couldn't drink cava on arrival as don't drink alcohol so maybe an alternative should be offer safe with drinks on benches..a bottle of red an white wine ,2 bottles of water an one orangeade..for the whole bench of 8..we had 3 ppl in our group so had to share bench with 4 others who claimed all the drink and wouldn't share so had to ask for another bottle of orangeade so my daughters had a drink which the staff willingly gave due to our neighbours selfishness..food was good ..ignore other reviews I've seen ..vegetable soup was delicious, we are vegaterian so had vegaterian lasagne with chips which was very nice and then venetta for dessert ..all served in metal bowls, cups etc to go with theme..yellow won on our trip ..we was black team so boohoo...staff and entertainers where funny, entertaining ..both English and Spanish spoken ..the king that is he narrates the evening..highly recommend although horses loved running I must say I do agree they don't like dancing sideways I think that part needs to be scrapped it's not needed the show does enough so side dancing horses isn't needed not at the horses discomfort as made me an my daughters uncomfortable ,we felt bad for being there an watching it as u can see they was resisting but the horses where happy doing the charging etc but performing tricks I think should be dropped out of show but overall a very good Christmas day had ..ignore the negative reviews and go! I booked without reading reviews then Christmas day an hour before we was due to go to show my daughter checked reviews an said mum why dud u book it's bad reviews so then I was worried but I'm glad I made my own choice an booked cos I'm glad we went ..it's a must see!

The show was good but the dinner was terrible. It was just like prison food. After I returned to the hotel, I vomit and my partner had diarrhoea for the whole night. I’d give 4 stars to the show but negative star to the dinner. We spent €232.5 for a family of four and did not expect they gave us such terrible and poisonous dinner.

The more you give the more you get. Pantomime-esque experience - arrived at about 645 which was plenty of time before it started. Had opportunity to take a photo with the "King" and briefly experience the "castle". Taken to a holding area with Merch & the Bar before they take you through. Everyone is given a vest top which denotes your "team". Once through (approx 730) the evening begins with a very mid 3 course meal (Chicken/Potatoes/Veg Soup/Vientta!) however its in keeping with the theme. The more you give the more you get with regards to the experience, if you have a bit of fun with it then it is a good evening - plenty of crowd interaction and the show is in Spanish and English which whilst appreciated does make it a bit stunted at points. Fun with the family or as a couple but glad we went. The knights go through various stunts and "battles" with the winner ultimately being decided by the engagement of the crowd. If you're lucky like us you'll have some people that are really into it and it enthuses everyone around them - bit of crowd participation as a reward to those who are most engaged also. Fun night.

All around everything was super organized, the seats, the food, including the show. However, the show is quite borderline on brutality and vulgar, which makes me think because there were kids in the audience crying. An age restriction would make sense.

A great experience for our 7 year old boy. We booked this event after seeing positive reviews and were glad we went. We booked with transfer which was on time and seamless. Our driver was such a sweetheart as my son and I were in the front can with him and my boy fell asleep on his arm. He kept it on the gearstick all the way to the event! ❤️. Waiting for the event itself was a bit tedious, but there is a bar, outside (smoking) terrace and plenty of seating. The performance of everyone; the king, the knights and the skill of the horses was excellent. There is also a fire breathing artist who was really cool to watch. The food was not good for the adults from my side, chicken, some mushy potatoes and a starter of an indiscernible soup. Desert was Vianetta style ice cream which was nice. Kids got nuggets for my boy was fine. The service of the staff is good throughout the performance and the knights are interactive with the crowd. I hear the ending changes often as to which side “wins”, but the joy was seeing my 7 year old gamer totally engrossed in something that is not on a screen and talking about it for days afterwards. Yes there’s a bit of waiting around and yes, the food isn’t great, but the performers and the friendly accommodating service makes up for it. The kids will love it. There were teenagers laughing and shouting when the knights came over. Great to see.
