Me & my husband joined 2-day Cai Rang floating market tour and it was everything I hoped for. We experienced the market like locals, sitting on the boat with a hot bowl Hu Tieu and Had coffee. We also explored quiet canals and bike thru villages path, which gave such a real sense of daily life in the Delta. The market is changing and may not be the same in a few years, so it felt special to see it now. Huge shoutout to our guide for making it fun and informative the whole way

Having breakfast right on this floating market was surreal. Siting on the boat with steaming bowls of noodles while vendors around rowed up selling fruits and drinks felt like stepping into a different world. A big difference from markets on land is that here they don’t shout to sell. They hang their goods on a tall pole instead so others can see what’s for sale. Our guide explained how the market works, and I loved watching the trade unfold.

I just got back from the 2 day mekong delta floating market tour and honestly, it was incredible. Our tour guide was super friendly, spoke perfect English, and made the whole experience easy and fun . We woke up early around 4:30 AM for the floating market and it all so worth it, and the resort made by by bamboo was the highlight for me. I will love all memories here in Vietnam when come back home . Thanks Joy.

What I loved most about this tour were the local workshops. We saw real people making banana leaf hammocks, water hyacinth crafts, coconut candy, pop rice . Nothing felt commercial, they were doing their daily work and simply shared it with us. Buying from them felt meaningful because at supports their livelihood. Our guide explained how important these small industries are for the region’s economy.

Spending the night at Bamboo Resort was such a treat. The place was quiet, surrounded by nature, and the rooms all made by bamboo but still has a clean luxury vibe. Sitting outside in the evening felt peaceful, just don’t forget mosquito spray haha it was the perfect base for exploring the floating market the next morning, and I appreciated how the company supports local communities instead of big chains.
