What To Expect

We will meet our guide there and escape the city for a tour of the Mekong Delta, where you'll see what life is like beyond the urban centre of the south.
My Tho
Upon arrival into My Tho, we board our private boat for a cruise on the Mekong River. Then board a private boat and begin your cruise along the mighty Mekong River. Stop-off at a fish farm to gain an insight into one of the biggest industries of the region. Your expert local guide will take you to a nearby island, where you can stroll through the gardens and sample tropical fruits. Continuing to another island in the Mekong Delta, learn more about another cottage industry–coconut candy. Visit a factory and learn how this sweet is made.

5.00We had a pleasant tour on the Mekong Delta trip with our Guide Zane. He is very knowledgeable and shared the history of this area. He answered many questions when asked. He showed us around various places, got to try many fruits, experienced local food, took a book trip! The highlight was trying the Happy Water (whiskey), supposed to make you youthful, I am waiting 😆.

5.00I had a wonderful time with Thanh as our guide. Thanh was incredibly thoughtful and took care of all the details, making the day feel well-organized and relaxed. The pace was just right — never rushed, never too slow. The itinerary offered a great mix of transportation: car, tuk tuk, river boat, and sampan, which added variety and fun to the experience. The fruit and lunch exceeded my expectations, with a delicious selection of local produce and cuisine. I highly recommend this tour — and especially Thanh as your guide.
