What To Expect
Saigon Opera House (Ho Chi Minh Municipal Theater)
We will meet our guide there and escape the city for a tour of the Mekong Delta, where you'll see what life is like beyond the urban centre of the south.
My Tho
Upon arrival into My Tho, we board our private boat for a cruise on the Mekong River. Then board a private boat and begin your cruise along the mighty Mekong River. Stop-off at a fish farm to gain an insight into one of the biggest industries of the region. Your expert local guide will take you to a nearby island, where you can stroll through the gardens and sample tropical fruits. Continuing to another island in the Mekong Delta, learn more about another cottage industry–coconut candy. Visit a factory and learn how this sweet is made.

4.00Guide Trang was knowledgeable and helpful. We visited 2 islands, including a honey producer, coconut processing facility and had a tasty lunch in a lovely restaurant serving local food. We paddled along a canal through the jungle. We were transported to and from HCMC in a comfortable modern Transit van. The only drawback was a passenger with mobility issues who didn’t appear to have been told this tour wasn’t suitable for a person with mobility issues. He had a difficult time getting on and off the boats and navigating bridges etc. it really wasn’t safe for this passenger.

5.00We did a day trip with Nina and it was such an wonderful experience. We saw a couple of islands, good to try honey tea, try some local fruits and had a lovely boat trip at the end.
