What To Expect
Vinh Trang Temple
Departing at 8:00 AM, from your Ho Chi Minh City hotel, heading to the Mekong Delta by minivan or bus. During the 1.5 hour drive, pass by green rice fields before arriving at the beautiful rural My Tho. Along the way, we will visit Vinh Trang pagoda, the biggest pagoda in the Mekong delta. My Tho
at the beautiful rural My Tho. Your morning trip continues from here by motorized boat on the Tien River to the Qui (Tortoise islet). On the way, see the fishing port, boat-building workshops, and the Dragon, Phoenix and Unicorn Islet. Walk into the village, where you can visit a local fruit garden and enjoy the tropical fruit while listening to Southern Vietnamese folk music performed by islanders. Here you also can join the daily activities of the local people and take in the atmosphere of this beautiful natural countryside. Visit the bee house, and take the picture of the pythons. Lunch will be served right in the heart of the orchard garden. The boat cruise will lead you through Bao Dinh canal, entering Ben Tre province.

5.00We had such a great day with Hannah exploring the Mekong Delta. She grew up nearby, and you can really feel that local connection in the way she shares stories and little details. You can tell how much she loves what she does: she gave us so many interesting facts and helpful tips that made the whole experience feel personal and easy. Going with a private tour was 100% worth it. We could take our time, didn’t need to leave super early, and just enjoyed the day without feeling rushed. Hannah really made the whole experience, and we’re so glad she was assigned as our guide.

5.00We had a really good time on this tour. Matthew is a very good guide. He has excellent knowledge of the plants, animals, culture and history, especially for someone so young! He was sweet and created a relaxed tour but still kept us moving, allowing us to set the pace. It was nice to get away from the city for the day.

5.00Everything from being collected from the hotel, to being dropped back there again later, was relaxed and enjoyable. Ni was both lovely and knowledgeable, making the whole experience one of pure pleasure. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her as a tour guide. If we come back to Vietnam again, we'll definitely be booking her for another trip to the Mekong Delta

5.00Great personal VIP experience. We booked the trip the day before and were contacted by the tour guide on WhatsApp the evening before to confirm pick up time and place, and what to take. Hannah was a very good tour guide and looked after us well. Lunch was included which to our surprise was a large banquet for two at a private table. It was a very enjoyable day.

5.00Our guide, Matthew, was wonderful. He really made the trip great. He gave us lots of great information about the Mekong Delta and Vietnam, and we loved hearing his perspectives as someone who grew up in the Delta. The day was jam packed with activities and he took great care of us all day.

5.00We took a private tour of the Mekong Delta during our trip in Vietnam. Our guide, Hannah, was excellent—very knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate when explaining the area. She guided us through the beauty of the delta and allowed us to experience local life more closely. We visited local farmers and learned a lot about the plants and vegetation typical of the region, which made the tour very interesting and authentic. The organization was perfect: all the transfers were planned in detail and everything ran smoothly, allowing us to enjoy the day without any worries. We highly recommend this tour, especially with Hannah as your guide.

5.00All aspects of the tour were delivered as promised. It was most excellent to have a private tour. Our guide,Hannah, explained the agriculture of the area, mostly coconut harvesting and the many uses coconuts have. It was very interesting and enjoyable to take the various boat rides around the area. We also enjoyed a great meal. Would recommend to others.
