You will be visiting some attractions like: Vinh Trang temple, Visit My Tho and Ben Tre where are the heart of the Mekong Delta region. Cruising on the motor boat along Tien River, paddle along the small canals on a rowing boat.

What To Expect
Vinh Trang Temple
Around 7:45am. Get picked up from your hotel in center of Ho Chi Minh City and head to the Mekong Delta. During the 1.5 car ride, we will pass through by green rice fields before arriving at the beautiful rural My Tho. The first stop is Vinh Trang pagoda. It is the biggest pagoda in the Mekong Delta region. You will be guided to explore the most beautiful, ancient and significant temple in the Mekong Delta. This religious landmark dates back to the 19th century and features a harmonious fusion of Vietnamese, Khmer, and Chinese architectural styles.
My Tho
Head to the nearby pier, where you'll board a traditional Mekong Delta boat for a scenic cruise on the Mekong River. You will pass by the Turtle, Dragon, Phoenix Islets and arrive at the Unicorn Islet.

5.00Trip to Mekong Delta with Big Dave was really fun experience. We visited nice places, tried some local tastes, and Big Dave shared with us a lot of important information about Vietnam and local life. He made us laugh, even my small son remembers him with a big smile.
The long journey was the only thing I really complained about.

5.00The day was quite enjoyable, but the journey from Ho Chi Minh City seemed longer than I expected. However, once we arrived, the pace of life completely changed. Beo showed us how vast, peaceful, and pristine the Mekong Delta is. In retrospect, the trip was well worth it, but it's good to know beforehand that it was a full-day trip.

5.00Our trip around the Mekong was magic. The guide, Jack Hieu was amusing and had a of knowledge. He gave us plenty of time to look at all of the attractions we visited. The trips on the boats, tuk tuk, were all excellent, as we're the scenery and food. Jacky even got us into a bit of karaoke on the boat. He joined in too! The whole day was fantastic!

Beo explained those details in a simple way that made the landscape feel more meaningful. It added depth to what could otherwise have been just pretty scenery.

5.00A lovely tour I booked totally last minute. Our guide James was amazing, so much fun and knowledgeable. The tour itself was fab and the boat rides very nice. I am also vegan and they catered for me specifically for lunch, providing delicious tofu, spring rolls, tapiyoka, rice and vegan Vietnamese pancakes. Would recommend over a day in Ho Chi Minh anytime xxx

5.00We also had a wonderful Mekong River day tour and really enjoyed every part of it. The visit to the coconut candy factory and it was great to see how everything is made locally.Lollies were the best. The boat ride along the Mekong was relaxing, and we loved having fresh coconut while on the water — such a nice touch! The bike ride through the village was another highlight, giving us a chance to see local life up close. Highly recommend — we were very happy with this experience.
