This tour is very suitable for all people who loves to visit the rural area of the Mekong Delta in Southern Vietnam. You will be visiting some attractions like: Vinh Trang temple, Visit My Tho and Ben Tre where are the heart of the Mekong Delta region. Cruising on the motor boat along Tien River, paddle along the small canals on a rowing boat.

What To Expect
Vinh Trang Temple
Around 7:45am. Get picked up from your hotel in center of Ho Chi Minh City and head to the Mekong Delta. During the 1.5 car ride, we will pass through by green rice fields before arriving at the beautiful rural My Tho. The first stop is Vinh Trang pagoda. It is the biggest pagoda in the Mekong Delta region. You will be guided to explore the most beautiful, ancient and significant temple in the Mekong Delta. This religious landmark dates back to the 19th century and features a harmonious fusion of Vietnamese, Khmer, and Chinese architectural styles.
My Tho
Head to the nearby pier, where you'll board a traditional Mekong Delta boat for a scenic cruise on the Mekong River. You will pass by the Turtle, Dragon, Phoenix Islets and arrive at the Unicorn Islet. As you embark on this journey, you'll be captivated by the lush greenery and bustling river life. Continue your exploration by riding a traditional sampan boat through the narrow waterways with coconut palms lining both sides. This up-close experience allows you to appreciate the unique ecosystem and local way of life. Stop at a bee farm, savor honey tea, taste local fruits and enjoy traditional music performed by the villagers and learn about the daily life of the locals. Enjoy a local lunch with Vietnamese dishes (vegan food available)

5.00Our tour guide, David (or 'Big Handsome David', as he likes to be called), was EXCEPTIONAL from start to finish. He was incredibly knowledgeable, not only about everything we saw on the tour, but also about Vietnam in general, and he gave us clear and practical advice for the rest of our trip too!! What really stood out was how genuinely proud he is of his country and his Vietnamese heritage. Every time he explained something, you could tell it came from a place of real respect and love for Vietnam, and a genuine desire for tourists/visitors to understand and appreciate the culture, rather than just pass through it. He made sure everyone in the group was having a great time, and somehow managed to steer us away from the really busy touristy spots, so we still saw beautiful places without feeling overcrowded or rushed. At the pagoda, he explained the customs and etiquette, including how to walk around it properly, in a way that was very clear and respectful, and easy to follow, which I really appreciated! His English was excellent, and he was funny, warm and completely authentic throughout. I would happily book another tour, purely to have David as our guide again - I couldn’t recommend him more highly!!

5.00Went solo to this tour and our tour guide Tom was great. He made time pass by during transport and was also giving random history and facts throughout the tour. If you get him, you’ll be in good hands as he is very aware of everyone and wants to make sure you’re having a good time. Between the snacks, the tastings, and lunch itself you never get hungry on this tour. Be prepared to see beautiful sights as you boat, bike, and walk your way through.
