What To Expect
You'll be up in the sky for approximately 1hr. You will fly over/around Melbourne and surrounds, however it is fully dependent on the wind direction so we cannot guarantee a flight over the city. Every flight is unique!

5.00Captn' Kiff (?) the O.G. of Pilots flew us over Melbourne. Wouldn't wanna fly with anyone else. He's The Best & it was Marvelous. My wife was down here for our 10 yr Anni. & we tried 3 times earlier in the week with another company & were postponed due to weather but Global came through with a last minute cancellation & we swooped in !

5.00I celebrated my birthday with a global ballooning in Melbourne – and it became one of the most unforgettable experiences of my life. In fact, this was the reason I flew all the way to Melbourne The early morning pickup was smooth, and everything was perfectly timed. When we arrived at the launch site, the fog was thick and mysterious. My heart was racing, wondering if the sky would clear. And just as I hoped – it did. This was actually my third time experiencing a hot air balloon in Australia, but this one felt truly special. Floating above the city, the panoramic view of Melbourne was breathtaking – so beautiful it nearly brought me to tears. I kept thinking, I wish more people could see this view. The staff were warm, attentive, and professional, making sure every moment felt safe and enjoyable. Their explanations high above the city added even more meaning to the flight. It was truly beyond perfect – an experience I will never forget. PS. To all the staff – your kindness, smiles, and outstanding service made everything absolutely the best🥰

5.00Wow! What an unforgettable experience! This was, without a doubt, one of the highlights of my trip. Even though I’ve always been a little nervous about heights, I felt completely safe the entire time thanks to the professionalism and warmth of the crew. Captain Eddie and crew member Jason were absolutely fantastic, welcoming, knowledgeable, and full of good energy. They turned what could have been a nerve-wracking adventure into something fun, collaborative, and truly special. The views were nothing short of breathtaking. Floating peacefully above the landscape was magical and unlike anything I’ve ever done before. It felt surreal yet so calming. I’d 100% recommend this experience to anyone—even those who are hesitant like I was. I’m already considering doing it again on my next trip!

5.00We took a sunrise balloon flight over Melbourne the other day—my first ever—and it completely blew me away. The views of the city and the sunrise were absolutely stunning, and the quiet, gentle glide through the breeze was pure magic. Eddie, our captain, and Jason, our crewman, were fantastic—warm, friendly, and full of local knowledge. We even got to help with the pack-down, which was great fun (though I’m not sure how much help we really were—Eddie insists we were, haha). I’d 100% recommend this to anyone wanting something a bit out of the ordinary. Just keep in mind flights depend on the weather and may be cancelled last minute, but you can easily rebook. And if you go—help with the pack-down, the crew really appreciate it. Thanks Eddie and Jase from Global Ballooning—you made our morning unforgettable!
