You'll be up in the sky for approximately 1hr. You will fly over/around Melbourne and surrounds, however it is fully dependent on the wind direction so we cannot guarantee a flight over the city. Every flight is unique!

5.00Our sunrise hot air balloon flight with Global Ballooning was an unforgettable experience and truly worth the early wake-up. We were picked up from our hotel in the early morning, which made everything seamless and stress-free. One of the highlights was being able to help with setting up the balloon before take-off — it made us feel involved and added to the excitement. The one-hour flight itself was absolutely stunning, with breathtaking sunrise views over Melbourne CBD and the surrounding areas. Floating peacefully above the city as it woke up was something I’ll never forget. After landing, we also helped pack the balloon away, which was a fun and unique way to finish the experience. The crew was professional, friendly, and made safety a clear priority throughout. I would highly recommend Global Ballooning to anyone visiting Melbourne or locals looking for a truly special bucket-list experience. An incredible morning from start to finish 🎈✨

Seeing this beautiful city from above has been at the top of our bucket list — especially in our favourite yellow Zonzo balloon! Brony was an absolute standout, expertly leading the ground crew with such warmth and professionalism, while Eddie was a total legend of a pilot. His knowledge of the city and surroundings added so much to the experience, pointing out landmarks along the way, and both the take-off and landing were smooth and seamless.
