These breweries are sample itineraries only. All schedules are subject to change. Grind City Brewing, the embodiment of the city of Memphis… the hard work, blue collar sweat that keeps the city rolling. Grind City brewery is on one of the bluffs of the Mississippi, in the old home of the Tri-State veneer and furniture factory. Grind City refurbished and reused scrap wood and furniture materials to keep the history and spirit of the building alive and give homage to the uptown area it resides in. Table, walls, bar tops, flight boards and more are all re-used factory materials. Grind City has a mission to be a part of Memphis, they work with many charities in the community including St. Jude Children’s hospital, Angel Street, Folds of Honor, the Streetdog Foundation and more.

5.00My husband and I booked the Memphis Brewery Tour last minute and ended up being the only ones on the tour with Brian as our guide—what a great experience! Brian was very engaging and shared interesting history about both beer and Memphis along the way. We visited three different breweries, each with its own unique vibe. I don’t normally like beer, but I ended up tasting and enjoying beers I never would have tried on my own. We also met some amazing people at the breweries who are true masters of their craft. This tour was fun, informative, and well worth it—we’d absolutely recommend it to locals and visitors alike.

5.00My husband and I booked this guided brewery tour last minute, and it ended up being such a great experience. We were the only two on the tour, which made it feel very personal and relaxed. Brian was fantastic—he not only gave us an amazing brewery tour but also shared Memphis sightseeing highlights and the history of both Memphis and beer along the way. We also met some amazing people at each brewery who are true masters of their craft. I don’t normally care for beer, but I was genuinely impressed and ended up tasting beers I never would have tried otherwise. Overall, it was a fun, informative, and memorable experience. Highly recommend!

5.00Brian was the best guide!! My boyfriend and I attended a tour last month and he made it very fun and memorable! He was very knowledgeable on the local beer scene as well as on beer in general. He is also very personable! We highly recommend this tour to all!!

5.00Our tour guide, Brian, knew his beer! And Memphis breweries. For four hours we drove to three different breweries and sampled 9 (or 12 ...or more!) samples of the best Memphis has to offer. Learned all about the history of beer making (It's older than you think!) and about how different breweries refine their unique flavors. Would recommend this if you know the difference between a lager and an ale... or if you don't! It was a lot of fun.

5.00Wunderbar! Brian is fantastic. His passion and knowledge of beer, beer history and Memphis is absolutely phenomenal. This guy and his tour quickly moves from enzyme level to 2-row and 5-row barleys, as smooth as a premium German pilsner. Brian’s choice of breweries to visit and beers to enjoy matches his mastery of beer brewing science. He was extremely attentive to all our needs, safety and enjoyment. The memories created by Brian on this tour makes this one of the must-do bucket-list items when visiting Memphis. This was fun, science, history and memories all weaved into a story-filled night to remember. And yes, you “sample” way more than the tour prize…
