These breweries are sample itineraries only. All schedules are subject to change. Grind City Brewing, the embodiment of the city of Memphis… the hard work, blue collar sweat that keeps the city rolling. Grind City brewery is on one of the bluffs of the Mississippi, in the old home of the Tri-State veneer and furniture factory. Grind City refurbished and reused scrap wood and furniture materials to keep the history and spirit of the building alive and give homage to the uptown area it resides in. Table, walls, bar tops, flight boards and more are all re-used factory materials. Grind City has a mission to be a part of Memphis, they work with many charities in the community including St. Jude Children’s hospital, Angel Street, Folds of Honor, the Streetdog Foundation and more.

5.00This was so much fun! Our beer guide Brian was fun and informative. He worked hard to show us new and interesting places in Memphis and gave us a lot of very interesting history. He said this was his favorite job ever and I believe him. He brought joy and a very niche experience to this experience. Two people in our group were not “happy“ beer drinkers and he worked hard to find beers that we would enjoy. He got us yummy snacks and also showed us a few other things so we might enjoy during the rest of our time in Memphis. I would 100% recommend this to anyone who is coming to Memphis that enjoys beer or just wants to see craft breweries off of Beale Street. I’m hoping that when we return next year we will do this again and maybe see different memories. Another thing that I was worried about is he was very, very easy to find at pick up at the Peabody.

5.00We had a blast visiting several local breweries. Brian was our guide and he was a wealth of knowledge about the local beer scene along with general interesting facts about Memphis. Make sure to give this tour a try. I think we were able to try 10 different beers total. What a great education and a fun experience all at the same time.

5.00My husband and I booked the Memphis Brewery Tour last minute and ended up being the only ones on the tour with Brian as our guide—what a great experience! Brian was very engaging and shared interesting history about both beer and Memphis along the way. We visited three different breweries, each with its own unique vibe. I don’t normally like beer, but I ended up tasting and enjoying beers I never would have tried on my own. We also met some amazing people at the breweries who are true masters of their craft. This tour was fun, informative, and well worth it—we’d absolutely recommend it to locals and visitors alike.
