Noosa Learn to Surf offers specifically structured lessons to suit the absolute beginner through to competition surfers. Our specific 1-2-3 teaching method is unique worldwide and guarantees you'll be standing in your first lesson. We offer daily tuition, small group classes.
Group lessons run daily at 9am and 1.30pm for 2 hours duration. We operate 364 days per year excluding Xmas Day. Our surfing lessons can also be conducted in French if need be. All equipment included in the price.

Please note: Minimum age: 7 years, must be able to swim 25 meters unassisted.

What To Expect
Meet and greet your surf coaches, we assign you a board and rashvest. A short stroll down the path to the beach where we start your 2 hour surf lesson.

5.00Roberto and Oa where amazing! not only was a standing on my 3rd attempt successfully, they also helped me with my fear of large waves! it was such a great time I would recommend wearing lots of sunscreen since its very easy to get a super bad sunburn. we had a 1 hour visit and it was more then enough. personally the atmosphere was just so happy and light despite it being a surfing lessen. plus there was barley anyone else there!

5.00Our instructor, James, treated us exceptionally for our first ever surf session- both my sister & I went with no experience at all. By the end of the 2-hr session James made an introduction to waves & the surf environment & gave enough technical skill to be riding small waves, paddling, & timing catching waves on our own; special mentions of energy conservation / reading waves, rip currents, venturing into bigger waves, local knowledge. James was passionate about surfing & comes from a lifetime of experience. Booking was easy through Tripadvisor on short notice the night before, due to another company having to cancel, & we checked in with our name on the official list in the morning.

5.00Big group any many surfers in the water. The instructors could have been more active then they where. But it was trickie waves and not.the best conditions for a first try.

5.00We were a private group lesson of five, and all five of us had a great time. Rob was simply excellent, he took the time to give really helpful feedback when we came to him for our next wave. Keeping the instructions clear and easy to understand, and layering with the next skill when we had got the one before. We all learned so much in just one lesson. The kids loved it so much, they are booked for another lesson tomorrow. Cannot recommend these guys highly enough.

5.00Wow!! Just such an incredible time - Cindy was the absolute greatest - 11/10. I would HIGHLY recommend working with Cindy, and we will definitely be coming back again!! I had never surfed before so was a little worried I might embarrass myself or get judged, but Cindy made me and the others feel so comfortable and was so patient with us. Thank you for making this lesson so memorable Cindy!!!
