Discover Mesa Verde National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1978 and considered the largest archaeological preserve and first cultural National Park in the country. Mesa Verde, Spanish for green table, offers a spectacular look into the lives of the Ancestral Pueblo people who made it their home for over 700 years. Today the park protects nearly 5,000 known archaeological sites, including 600 cliff dwellings. These sites are some of the most notable and best preserved in the United States.

5.00Spending the day with Aaron our tour guide was a great experience. His extrema knowledge of the American Native Indian was so enlightening . He has a passion and I highly recommend this tour and do not think you can visit the sites. I saw seniors of all ages and children visit the sites.

5.00Our guide…. H was extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of Mess Verde and was fun to talk with. He was also great at keeping us moving around the park but had great patience if we wanted to linger at a particular site.

5.00First off was the park itself, which is amazing! Then there was our guide, Aaron, who made it even better. He was such a wealth of information. He is a local archaeologist who spent the entire day giving us such good information about the area, the people who lived there, and the significance of the dwellings and the park itself. He even gave us a lot of tips and pointers on other places to visit nearby which are similar, and shared personal pictures and stories with us. I would HIGHLY recommend this tour, especially with Aaron.
