Fantastic tour with a fantastic guide! Booked this last minute at the Meteora office an hour before it began and was treated to a journey of history and natural as well as man made wonders! There were just three of us on this tour and so it felt like a private tour. Vasilis was a very knowledgeable guide! Apart from the history of the area, he also gave us a quick course on Byzantine architecture and iconography at the Byzantine Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary. Very interesting! Apart from this church, we visited St. Stephen’s monastery/nunnery, the hermit caves, saw a few of the monasteries from the outside , saw the sunset and stopped at strategic spots to admire the breathtaking scenery. Well paced and relaxing tour. Not rushed at all. Really, if you get the chance, just book this tour and if Vasilis is your guide, consider this a huge bonus! Highly recommended!-

Fantastic tour with a fantastic guide!! I booked this tour at their office in Meteora just an hour before it began. There were just three of us tourists on this tour so it really felt like a private tour! Vasilis was a great guide with so much knowledge about the area, Greek history and the Orthodox religion. It was interesting to learn about Orthodox iconography from him during the visit to the Byzantine church in Kalambaka. The pace was good and we also visited St. Stephen’s monastery/nunnery, the hermit caves, saw the sunset and stopped at strategic viewpoints to enjoy the breathtaking scenery. Really, if you get the chance, just book this tour and if it is Vasilis who is your guide, consider this a huge bonus! Highly recommended!

We joined the Meteora Sunset Tour with Meteora Trip and had a great overall experience. Our guide, Vasso, was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. She shared a lot of interesting information about the history of Meteora, the monasteries, and local life, which made the whole tour much more meaningful. The timing of the tour was perfect. We had enough time to visit the monasteries, enjoy the views, and take photos without feeling rushed. The sunset itself was beautiful and the guide made sure we were at a great spot to enjoy it. I would highly recommend this tour, especially if it’s your first time in Meteora and you want to learn more about the place while enjoying the stunning scenery.

4-hour tour to discover the monasteries with bus tour, you visit only the monastery of Santo Stefano. We were lucky as we witnessed a spectacular sunset. Good guide although we could not take advantage of the audio guides in Italian and the Wi-Fi on the bus
