What To Expect
Duration:2 hours
Operating Schedule:Departures every 30 minutes from Stop 1 (Bayside Marketplace) starting at 9AM until 4PM. Alternatively, guests can board the bus at any of the stops along the route. Customers are advised to visit the Big Bus website or to download the Big Bus app to see the most up to date bus stop locations and timings. For live bus tracking on the day of travel - please download the Big Bus App in advance of arrival.
Stop 1 - Bayside Marketplace (metro bus stop in front of Ben's Pizza)
Stop 2 - South Beach (Metro bus stop in front of CVS Pharmacy)
Stop 3 - Soundscape Park (metro bus stop opposite the Greenview Hotel)
Stop 5 - Mid Beach/RIU Hotel (metro bus stop in front of the RIU Hotel, between 31st & 32nd St)
Stop 6 - North Beach/Fontainebleu & Lexington Hotels (metro bus stop in front of the Lexington Hotel)
Stop 7 - Design District/Midtown (metro bus stop located right beneath the overpass/bridge)
Stop 8 - Wynwood Walls
Stop 9 - Downtown/Holiday Inn (metro bus stop near corner with NE 3rd St, near Holiday Inn)

1.00Was told by a trolley driver that we were on the right one, did not speak very good English and we were on the wrong trolley. Address hard to find so did not make it and now we have appt. Very disappointed.

4.00The bus was not air conditioned! I don’t like the sun so sitting outside is not an option. I expected the bus to be cooler inside, but it was not. Not only was it not air conditioned, but the windows did not open! The bus route was good, with hop on and hop off opportunities good. Cruise option around the private islands was interesting. Getting to Little Havana was the main reason we took the bus the second day - first day we rode around the entire route without getting off just to see the sites. Getting to and from Little Havana was convenient.

One Day Ticket Enough as can get repetitive and buy a separate boat ticket direct to avoid hassle

2.00Disappointed with hop on hop off bus, unlike many other cities the route is one way with 9 stops. To visit a site you may need to complete the route again! The commentary is mediocre and whilst the provided brochure provides stop numbers the commentary does not... this small tweek would make it easier for passengers. The cruise was great, it is provided by another company and it is necessary to exchange the Big Bus Ticket to board. There are at least four Big Bus Booths but staff are obviously on commission and anyone with an enquiry is ignored despite being in the queue to point of rudeness. Suggest buy a separate boat ticket direct and avoid the hassle!

4.00We went on a Friday, boarded at 11:30. The tour promotion said it was 1.5/2 hour loop. Due to traffic, it turned out to be a 3.15 loop tour. It was a good tour to get the history and see the sights. However, had we known how long the entire loop was going to be, we would have changed our planning for stopping and getting off.

1.00No air conditioning in the bottom deck and no open windows. No space on the top and each bus was over 30 minutes late. Some were full and another hour wait. We had to get a ride share this was intolerable. No clear answers from anyone but an attempted upsell.

4.00My family and I have taken the Big Bus Tour in several cities including Los Angeles, Paris, and San Fran. This is a good way to see neighborhoods and famous sights in popular travel destinations. Sometimes buses have no air conditioning which makes it problematic on very hot days. We experienced this on two of the bus rides we took in Miami. If they can address this issue, I would have given them five stars. Still a worthwhile investment.

2.00The information was great on the bus, but honestly the timing was off. I get Miami traffic but dont promise to be at a stop every 30 mins. We went to get on stop 1 at 10 and it wasnt until 1030 when the bus finally got there. The app for finding the location for the bus wasnt always accurate either. Unfortunately I felt I did not get my money's worth out of this experience.
Okay way to get around when you don't really know what to see.
