Tucked away in the dramatic landscape of Madeira, our Ribeira do Cidrão experience is defined by exclusivity and attention to detail.

We limit each tour to a maximum of 9 people. This intentionally small group size creates a more personal atmosphere, where every participant receives direct support and continuous guidance from the guides. It allows for better communication, stronger group cohesion, and a steady, well-managed flow throughout the canyoning.

Throughout the descent, the canyoning reveals eight waterfalls, each one enhancing the sense of immersion and steady progression. The defining moment comes at the canyoning highest waterfall — a powerful 18-meter waterfall that demands calm, precision, and trust. This descent captures the true essence of Cidrão: technical, enclosed, and deeply rewarding. Flowing through narrow passages and sculpted rock walls, this untamed canyoning invites adventurers to move with intention and presence. Every rappel is deliberate, every step purposeful — a refined balance between challenge and control.

TLDR: Tiago is the GOAT and you should book asap If you're considering canyoning in Madeira, book with Flow Madeira (Tiago). Full stop. Tiago is an absolute legend at canyoning and taking care of his clients. I messaged him through Instagram on a whim asking for a Level 3 (55m waterfall rappelling, which is awesome, and I'm scared of heights), and within hours Tiago had sorted a Level 3 experience for a last-minute group of 3 the very next morning. The whole booking process through Instagram and WhatsApp was seamless and completely stress-free. The experience itself blew me away. Tiago and Alex are locals who know every canyon, waterfall, and abseil point on the island inside out, and their energy and passion made six hours fly by. They kept us engaged the entire time with genuine stories about Madeiran history, culture, food, and local life. We started at a cafe for a debrief on safety and wetsuits and finished with poncha at a local spot, the perfect ending to an incredible day. Tiago genuinely cares about his clients. Accommodating, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about sharing his island with people. One of the best experiences I had in Madeira, and I did a lot while I was here. Highly recommend. If you're considering it even a little bit, just book!

Amazing experience, Tiago and Guilherme are great and were very helpful during whole adventure. It was first time when I did canyoning but for sure not the last - definitely I will return for more!! Highly recommend Flow Madera, see you soon Guys :-)

Great experience. If you want to try it, it's really worth experiencing. I heartily recommend level 2. However, I will come to level 3 one day.

Canyoning experience simply fantastic! The team is extremely professional and can convey enormous security from the first minute. The big difference is the attention they give to each person: they listen to our difficulties and adapt the course so that everyone feels included, regardless of age or physical preparation. In the end, we were still surprised with an offer! In addition, the guide takes excellent photos so we can remember every moment. I highly recommend!

It was an incredible and memorable experience. Inside a river with many waterfalls, with a wonderful setting like only the island of Madeira has. We always felt very safe despite it being a somewhat risky experience, as we were always informed beforehand by the instructors about what would happen, as well as how to use the equipment correctly. The instructors were super friendly and very attentive, and they took tons of photos of the experience. The equipment that was lent to us was new, in excellent condition, and very comfortable, even though the river water was quite cold. Overall, spectacular, I highly recommend it! Keep up the good work. Gratitude 🙏

The canyoning experience was amazing! The guides were really engaging, professional, and made us feel safe at all times, while also sharing some very interesting local stories. There was a great group vibe throughout, and the scenery along the way was beautiful. Definitely an unforgettable experience!
