The Middle Fork American River Rafting trip will take you into the Auburn State Recreation Park wilderness canyon and bring you places only accessible via rafting down the river. This is a Class 2-4+ Rafting Trip that does require all participants to have good swimming abilities. Families with kids are welcome, please understand there is a hard min. of 14 years old to participate.

What To Expect

We will meet you in Auburn and shuttle you to the put in location in Foresthill. We will raft 18 miles of Class 2-4+ rapids. A riverside lunch is served mid-day. Each raft can accommodate up to 6 rafters and there will be a professional river guide with each raft. Our shuttle will meet you again at the take out and return you back to your vehicle.

Gear includes raft, PFD (Personal Floatation Device/Life Jacket), Paddle & Helmet

We will serve a generous deli lunch riverside mid-day

My boyfriend and I did a one-day trip on the Middle Fork of the American River w/ Tributary Whitewater Tours / Raft California. I had been white water rafting twice before on the east coast but this was my BF's first time and it was a fantastic experience for both of us! Gator was our guide and he was not only knowledgeable and experienced but he was also friendly and fun! He was the icing on the cake and we would definitely go with this company again and would request Gator in a heartbeat. Mahalo Gator & Tributary Whitewater Tours / Raft California!
