Here the real stories and see the real photos of these characters from the book that helped put Savannah's tourism on the map. In addition to the locations listed, we also stop by the home where John Berendt lived when he first arrived in Savannah, along with Joe Odom's House, the home of Helen Drexel (Serena Dawes in the book and the film), as well as a few other locations.

What To Expect
Armstrong House
We stop outside here to discuss Jim Williams, Sony Seiler, as well as Wiliam Simon Glover and Patrick, the dog. Sonny was Jim's lawyer during the second, third, and fourth trials.
We stop outside here to discuss the story of Luther Driggers (Maurice Elmore Fetzer, Jr.) and how he relates to the book. He would eat breakfast here every morning.

5.00Excellent!! This was our first trip to Savannah so at the suggestion of multiple people I watched the movie just before we left, didn’t have enough time to read the book. Our guide Ryan brought so much more to the tour! He gave inside details about characters and details and from the story, that I have been inspired to read the book! I highly recommend this tour! It was absolutely fantastic!
