Enjoy a 13-hour trip to one of the UNESCO World Heritage sites, the Bernina TRAIN railway, passing before along Lake Como and a beautiful Alpine valley. We stop in a charming lakeshore village and, possibly, later by a winery or old cellar experience or a cafè!
In Tirano you have around one hour for your lunch and then we board the Bernina TRAIN that climbs the Swiss Alps.
We get off at one the highest point to enjoy snowcaps and glaciers view.
Afterward we head to St. Moritz where you have about 45 minutes to explore this fashionable resort, one of the most well known in the world.
At the end of it we go back to Lake Como, through another spectacular valley in Switzerland, from where you board either the regular train or the minibus for a ride on your return to Milan.

5.00We had the best day with our guide Raffaele. It is a long trip but so worth it. Everything we saw was gorgeous. Our guide was knowledgeable and was fun to be around. We were grouped with three other couples, which was a nice size group. Raffaele took us to some of the most beautiful places. We are very glad we chose this tour.
Would I do this again? 100% YES!

5.00This was beyond anything I imagined. Most stunning views on the train. My husband and I were two out of eight in the group so perfect small group. Tour guide Rafielle (probably misspelled name) was truly such a nice person and very knowledgeable. He asked if we wanted to stop at the winery for a quick tour which we enjoyed and was able to pick up a couple bottles of wine. Every leg of the trip was well worth it. The true beauty of St Moritz was the train trip through the alps. Would I do this again? 100% YES!

5.00Antonella was a wonderful guide for this day trip into Switzerland. The train was a magical experience; I’ve never willingly got subjected myself to the cold for so long as I did on this trip, but I simply couldn’t stop popping my head out the train window to soak in the view and inhale the fresh alpine air. The other stops on our trip were still nice, but the train ride really was the highlight of the adventure. Be sure to stop in at Läderach to stock up on artisanal chocolate one you reach St Moritz!

5.00Would definitely recommend! Long day with lots of stops. Great to see Lake Como in the off season. Plenty of time in various stops for coffee, lunch, shopping, etc. The views from the train were spectacular! Luca was a great guide! Very knowledgeable and adapted quickly to local train strikes. A great way to spend a day outside of Milan!

5.00Good instructions for meeting venue, found easily, met by Paula a lovely lady who saw us on the train and waited till we departed and waved us off. Joined later on train by Marie our guide for the day who was very knowledgeable and friendly, when we disembarked the train we met our driver Luca a lovely yams excellent safe driver. We saw and did a lot more than expected and both Marie and Luca went out of their way to make our day very special. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and would definitely recommend this trip to anyone, thank you Viator for using Luca from Italy tours as they were amazing.

5.00Fabulous small group tour Bernini train ride. Meeting place easy to find and met by a lovely lady called Paula, she explained everything to us and then took us to board the train, saw us seated and waiting for us to leave and waved us off, later our guide for the day joined the train and introduced herself to us and again explained what we were going to do and see, another lovely lady called Marie, very knowledgeable and made everything interesting, when we got off the train we met our very safe, experienced and lovely driver Lucca. We had the most amazing day and both the driver and tour guide couldn’t do enough for us, they were brilliant, would definitely recommend this 5 star trip to anyone.

5.00It's a long day and you're tired by the end of it but post of that tiredness is just the excitement and adrenaline of the views of the apps as you continue your climb. Great guide and a wonderful day punctuated with spectacular mountain views of the Apps and beautiful small towns nestled in gorgeous valleys. Winery was a nice stop along the way and lunch was a welcome break.

5.00I highly recommend this phenomenal tour. It had the right amount of people and the itinerary covered a lot of ground. We had an amazing time from start to finish. My teenage daughter and I journeyed on this adventure together and I must say it was an experience of a lifetime. Luca took great care of us every step of the way. He enriched us with the history of Lake Como, Tirano, Switz Alps, and more. We had an opportunity to stop at a winery on the way, where I enjoyed a glass of wine and complimentary charcuterie snack. The views on the Bernina were breathtaking and Luca provided directional guidance so that everyone knew what to expect as the ride progressed. Our chartered driver was also very pleasant. Do not hesitate to book this tour you will not be disappointed.
