Enjoy a 13-hour trip to one of the UNESCO World Heritage sites, the Bernina TRAIN railway, passing before along Lake Como and a beautiful Alpine valley. We stop in a charming lakeshore village and, possibly, later by a winery or old cellar experience or a cafè!
In Tirano you have around one hour for your lunch and then we board the Bernina TRAIN that climbs the Swiss Alps.
We get off at one the highest point to enjoy snowcaps and glaciers view.
Afterward we head to St. Moritz where you have about 45 minutes to explore this fashionable resort, one of the most well known in the world.
At the end of it we go back to Lake Como, through another spectacular valley in Switzerland, from where you board either the regular train or the minibus for a ride on your return to Milan.

5.00"Luca from Italy Tours" was outstanding and more than we could have hoped for! Luca is quite knowledgeable with the background history for all areas visited. Truly a professional and a very nice person as well. He met us in Lake Como not far from where we were staying to take us to the Bernina Express train. Upon arrival he insured our perfect entry to the train collaborating with a cohort upon arrival to depart from the appropriate train. He informed us ahead of time at which points and turns during the train's travels to prepare for special video captures and photos. We also stopped at other points along the way on our return trip to another small town which was quaint and quite enjoyable . After that on our travels back to Lake Como we visited a special waterfall site that Luca recommended. Should you wish to visit the Swiss Alps, Lake Como, Milan or Bellagio we would highly recommend his services without hesitation. You will be thrilled you engaged Luca's services for lasting memories.

5.00It was an incredible experience. All the videos I saw about going to St. Moritz were going and going by train and despite the landscape, I think it would be tired. But the script was amazing. We stopped on the train in Belano, walked a bit and took a photo at Lago di Como. From there we followed by car and stopped at a winemaker and went to Tirano to pick up the bernina. The return was by car to part of the way, which gave us the possibility to stop and appreciate other views. Rafaelle was extremely attentive, friendly and kind. Made all the difference on the ride. Super recommend that everyone take this guided tour. The experience will be much better

5.00Absolutely incredible. Thoroughly recommend doing this fantastic scenic train ride as part of a small group. Marie, our guide looked after us so well, and Fabio our driver was fabulous. Cannot rate LUCAitlay any higher from booking to the end of the tour they made the trip totally stress free. I had wanted to take the Bernina Express for some time and it was just perfect. Thank you so much to all involved, lovely to meet like minded travellers too

5.00Giulia was an amazing guide who is a native to the area. She was very knowledgeable and proud of all of the great things in the area. Wear layers of clothes since we encountered all four seasons in May including a thunder snow storm. Throughout the trip she pointed out all of the great sights and the history of the area. We got the chance to seeing many amazing views from elevation, waterfalls, great shopping, and the chance to eat some great food with the highlight being the gelato.
5 Stars! Highly Recommend.
