Our tour was really outstanding. We hesitated before booking because the cost was high, but honestly we had great value for money. We learnt so much about key Milanese monuments that we would never have known had we visited on our own. Everything came alive for us. We spent nearly an hour in the cathedral. Our guide used an iPad a lot which gave a very interesting historical context to what he was explaining. The Last Super was wonderful to see and again were given a very detailed explanation, standing right in front of the masterpiece. There was quite a lot of walking but the pace was very manageable with many stops. The January frost was more challenging but didn’t distract from one of the best tours we have done.

It is a lot of walking, wear clothing that is conducive to outdoor climate. Excellent tour guide excellent information and lots of additional information about the neighborhood you walk through.

Loved this tour, such a treat. We booked purely because we were keen to see The Last Supper and couldn’t access tickets otherwise. We were a bit hesitant as guided tours generally don’t work for our family due to mobility issues and ADHD (2 middle aged parents, 2 young adult children). But this has been a highlight of our trip. Our guide Simon was amazing - knowledgeable, sensitive to the needs of each individual in the group and so passionate about his city and its history that it was contagious. And I’m so glad to have seen Last Supper, and appreciated it so much more with Simon’s guidance. I highly recommend this tour.

I loved the info - I learned a lot from this tour! Guide Simone was very clear, personable, and kept me interested throughout the tour. I appreciated his respect for the emotional experience some people have upon entering the room of The Last Supper - love it.

The guide, in this case, Fabrizio was unaware of his group and left me behind at the castle toilet stop and went off to the church. I waited outside the toilets where he told us to wait. Luckily, I spotted the following group and Maria directed me to the church. I ran to the church and thought I would miss the entry time slot. A very poor and stressful experience!

Super fun tour. It’s a bit quick to cover so much in three hours so recommend you plan another day to go back and spend more time at the castle and churches. Overall this was a great way to get the tickets to the famous last supper painting and learn more history!

My experience with City Wonders was not a great one at all. I was running late by about 15 minutes and asked if I could join the tour and they declined to accommodate me. I had a completely different experience with a tour in Paris in which I was also late BUT the company and the tour guide were more than helpful and accommodating towards myself, something in which I’m even more thankful for now given this experience. Today was also my first day in Milan and it wasn’t a very pleasant introduction to the city at all! It left a very bitter taste in my mouth really! The tour was also very expensive, I shelled out over $200 Australian dollars and City Wonders would not even take a refund or partial refund into consideration. It was a lot of money for me to lose given that I am a solo traveller! I don’t know what else to write other than to say that this was a most disappointing and very rough experience having to deal with this company. Beware of booking with City Wonders in the future as they are not accommodating at all. They just burnt me as a customer and I will be never using their services again.
