Incredible experience! It was very wet and very windy, but SO worth being up in the top deck to experience how special Milford Sound's history and geography is. Incredible scenery and beauty. Very educational and fun tour guide. Unforgettable.

What an extraordinary experience. Even though the busride was Long, it didn’t seem that long, due to Elli, our Tourguide and her funny Stories and the many breaks we had to make Fotos and stretch our legs and buy Snacks. MILFORD Sound on a Ferry speaks for itself. Absolut astonishing. Not to be missed. Highly recommend this tour.

The bus driver Vaughan was in a good mood and gave a lot of information. Some stops to take pictures were also made. The panoramic roof was great in the mountains. The boat tour in the sound was also great. Overall professional process with friendly staff

It's our family's first ever trip to the South Island and deciding to book the MIlford Sound Coach-Cruise tour from Queenstown with Southern Discoveries was the best decision ever. It made this holiday an experience to remember forever! Booked it online with ease and their reminder emails nearing the date were very helpful. The coach was very comfortable and exceptional. The glass roof top allowed us to thoroughly enjoy the breathtaking views, from both sides of the coach and atop. It all felt surreal! Our driver and guide, Keith all the more made it very interesting with the extensive information and stories he shared, coupled with lots of humour and he even facilitated a game contest among the passengers. It really made the 8 hours coach ride enjoyable, pleasurable and engaging. He knew the route so well, brought us to amazing stops and gave us ample time to take pictures and appreciate the awesome sceneries. Milford Sound was both spectacular and magical with towering fiords, beautiful waterfalls, and amazing wildlife. The Southern Discoveries boat ride was incredible and the crew equally gracious, welcoming and helpful. The live commentary of the captain and interesting insights about the geology, wildlife and history of the Fiordland made us appreciate this place even more. We also enjoyed sipping our hot drinks whilst feeling the mist of the waterfall when the boat went nearer for the experience of everyone. Wow! Its a 5/5 experience of a lifetime. Thank you very much Southern Discoveries for such an incredible tour. Thanks to Keith and to the cruise crew. We thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it and will definitely be coming back. Have already passed on recommendations to families and friends. Thank you.

First and foremost our driver / guide Vaughan was amazing. Greet everyone with cheeriness at 6:30am and kept up the enthusiasm and good will for 13 hours! Amazing. Then there are the stops for awesome vistas all explained and narrated by Vaughan. Finally, and best of all, was the cruise around Milford Sound. The waterfalls, snowy peaks, dolphins, seals, sheer cliffs and pristine waters make for a “bucket list” day.
