Great day trip, booked via Get Your Guide, with Pure Milford. Taken by comfortable, clean coach from Te Anau to Milford Sound...lots of short photo stops on the way, and a toilet stop. Tickets given for boarding the catamaran cruise ship, and for the included packed lunch (hot chicken or veg pie, crisps, muesli bar, apple)..complimentary hot drinks on board). Cruise along Milford Sound then back by coach Our driver, Sebastian, was great..polite, organised, friendly and gave a great, informative and amusing commentary along the journey. The boat skipper and staff also gave an informative and funny commentary, and were professional and friendly. A great, well-organised trip.

The whole day was amazing. We were picked up promptly by Phil from Trips and Tramps. Communication was great from booking to the reminder a couple of days ago. Phil was a great host and guide and made the trip for us. The whole day was well organised and we had opportunities to make great memories. The cruise was fantastic. Bucket list gets another tick. We will definitely recommend you to any friends who may visit on the future. Janet and Paul

It is well worth the money the driver was helpful and informative all through the trip. He made the experience a total pleasure.

On December 22nd I booked a tour to Milford Sound, through Viator, departing from Te Anau. The driver was incredibly rude to us, despite us being on time. Everybody else had marked seats but us, so we had to seat separately the entire time. It's worth mentioning that this ruined the whole day for us. We came to New Zealand to see the Sounds and unfortunately we don't have time to do the tour again. After being informed via email, Pure Milford acknowledged that this is not ideal, bur out of character for the driver. They also said that drivers might be contractors working for the tour, but employed by a different company and they ask passengers to mark seats in order to "keep families together". Apparently, we're not a family.

Absolutely outstanding trip. The highlight was supposed to be the cruise, but the bus trip that took us from Te Anau to Milford was absolutely brilliant, with the driver, Scarlet, brilliantly guiding us through the awesome landscape. Couldn’t recommend it more.

We had a great experience in Milford Sound. The lady bus driver from Te Anau was great, and we enjoyed the boat ride, even on the rain. Thank you!

Our coach tour guide was super friendly, and kept us engaged on the ride to Milford Sound. It was fantastic to learn about the facts surrounding the fiordland. Our cruise was on a rainy day and it was a bit choppy on the water, but the crew were great in keeping everyone safe when it got windy. A great way to experience Milford Sound up close!

It rained all day ,but without it we wouldn’t have seen those spectacular waterfalls gushing down the fiords everywhere Magic. Our coach driver Sebastian was sensational.

Can’t rate this trip as it was cancelled due to weather conditions. We are awaiting a promised refund. We were very disappointed we couldn't reschedule due to other bookings.

It was a marvellous day. Spectacular scenery. The only disappointment was it cost so much more than advertised. it was advertised as approx 130 pp which meant 260 all up. It was a shock to see from my bank statement that it actually cost 480. (OVER $200 MORE!) I am a NZer and yet I was paying in US dollars. It was an awesome day but I did feel let down by the cost that was not at all clear at the time of booking. I am on a limited budget and would have looked at aalternatives if I had known the true cost.
