What To Expect
Milford Sound
Take a stunning Scenic Flight to Milford Sound from Queenstown, with our fly cruise fly package including a 2-hour Cruise. Milford Sound is New Zealand's premier tourist destination, and the sheer scale and staggering beauty of the fiord are experienced from all viewpoints. We will fly you from Queenstown over the Southern Alps with breathtakingly spectacular and endless panoramic views of lakes, forested river valleys, waterfalls, jagged razor-backed ridge lines and snow covered peaks. After landing at Milford we will choose whether to take the shuttle bus or, if time permits, take you on a short walk through the bush and foreshore to the cruise boat. Once on the boat, you will take a leisurely cruise along the whole length of the fiord. After the cruise, your pilot will escort you back to the aircraft for the return flight to Queenstown along a different flight path.

5.00The flight from Queenstown to Milford Sound is the best way to there and back in half a day. Other patrons took the coach and said never again. The aircraft takes you over the mountains (close) and is unbelievable; taking you over Milford Sound before landing. On the way back we went the length of Lake Whakatitu and past the Remarkables. The cruise is nice ans offers a close up to the waterfalls, etc and compliments the flight well. The pilot (Andrew) was great and very knowledgeable. We were delivered back to our hotel by the company in good time. At great overall experience.

5.00Truly one of the highlights of my time in Queenstown!! We flew over Fiordland National Park and got incredible views of the mountains as well as some commentary from the pilot ✈️ (it's a different route both ways, so even more variety of landscapes) The cruise was awesome with amazing crew onboard! With free tea and coffee + we even saw dolphins 🐬 Coming back to the city at 2pm was the cherry on top, knowing it takes so long to drive.

5.00This tour flying into Milford Sound from Queenstown airport and then doing the scenic cruise was very enjoyable. The cost of flying cost more but the amount of time saved and the views from the air were worth it. Our pilot, Mike, was professional and pointed out many sights in both directions. He even allowed me, a licensed pilot, to sit next to him on the return flight after verifying there wasn't an issue with the weigh and balance calculation. The cruise was very nice and the ship pilot answered questions as he worked the controls. The crew members were friendly and provided a safe voyage. With the time saved by flying to Milford Sound rather than driving, we had an extra half day to explore in Queenstown.

5.00My wife and I did Fly-Cruise-Fly today in celebration of our honeymoon and it was a fantastic experience. Our pilot was Luke and he was very warm, professional, knowledgeable, and made it such a memorable experience - I even got to sit alongside him in the cockpit! The cruise was similarly fantastic but the flight really stole the show, 10/10 would recommend very highly.
