What To Expect
Milford Sound
Take a stunning Scenic Flight to Milford Sound from Queenstown, with our fly cruise fly package including a 2-hour Cruise. Milford Sound is New Zealand's premier tourist destination, and the sheer scale and staggering beauty of the fiord are experienced from all viewpoints. We will fly you from Queenstown over the Southern Alps with breathtakingly spectacular and endless panoramic views of lakes, forested river valleys, waterfalls, jagged razor-backed ridge lines and snow covered peaks. After landing at Milford we will choose whether to take the shuttle bus or, if time permits, take you on a short walk through the bush and foreshore to the cruise boat. Once on the boat, you will take a leisurely cruise along the whole length of the fiord. After the cruise, your pilot will escort you back to the aircraft for the return flight to Queenstown along a different flight path.

5.00Thank you to Andrew and Phoebe for our experience! We loved every moment of it. Andrew is an experienced pilot, he pointed out significant spots during our flight. We flew a different route to the first one which was great. Thank you True South for an awesome experience! I loved the stunning views from above. Milford Sounds cruise was just as awesome as the flights!

5.00Flight was excellent. Andrew was a great pilot, the ride was smooth and the views beautiful. Andrew was very knowledgeable pointing out various things of interest from the plane. Emma was also great in providing instructions for what we needed to do getting on and off the plane. The cruise was also great. The boat doesn't move too fast and was pretty smooth. We were worried about getting seasick like we did for whale watching. However this was totally different and a lot smoother. Milford Sounds is beautiful and the Captain provided a lot of information about the area. We came in Summer. I'd love to come back in Winter and Spring. It does cost a bit, however I preferred it to driving.

5.00Really amazing views. The flight was stunning - we loved flying down in the canyon. The cruise was really lovely - beautiful views, and lots of options on the boat or how to watch (inside, covered deck, open deck).

5.00AMAZING.! True South 😍😍 We cannot fault the service.!! Michael was a brilliant pilot with excellent commentary throughout. The cruise was superb too with the comedic Captain. The flight there and back is absolutely breathtaking. Highly recommend True South 5 ⭐️

5.00Great experience, all the staff were friendly and professional. Jason was a great guide as well as pilot. The cruise staff were amazing and you can’t beat the scenery. Loved that we were able to see so much in a half day tour and still had an afternoon in Queenstown after.

4.00A great experience, the beautiful views and the explanation by the two pilots were great! The only thing that I'm giving it 4 stars is because we didn't manage to have the landing and cruise due to strong wind at the airfield, so the views were only from above! Otherwise everything else was spectacular!
