What To Expect

Milford Sound

Take a stunning Scenic Flight to Milford Sound from Queenstown, with our fly cruise fly package including a 2-hour Cruise. Milford Sound is New Zealand's premier tourist destination, and the sheer scale and staggering beauty of the fiord are experienced from all viewpoints. We will fly you from Queenstown over the Southern Alps with breathtakingly spectacular and endless panoramic views of lakes, forested river valleys, waterfalls, jagged razor-backed ridge lines and snow covered peaks. After landing at Milford we will choose whether to take the shuttle bus or, if time permits, take you on a short walk through the bush and foreshore to the cruise boat. Once on the boat, you will take a leisurely cruise along the whole length of the fiord. After the cruise, your pilot will escort you back to the aircraft for the return flight to Queenstown along a different flight path.

Great flight over to the sound with a good pilot. The cruise of the sound was fun with plenty to see. This was way better for us than the alternative of an 8 hour round trip.

Fantastic value and beautiful experience . Avoid the 13 hour bus/cruise/bus, part with the money and enjoy a flight to remember and straight onto 2 hours of cruising on an uncrowded boat with a knowledgeable captain. Then instead of facing 5 hrs on bus trip back to Queenstown, enjoy your scenic 45 minute flight over mountains and arrive back fresh. Definitely worth the money
