What To Expect
Milford Sound
Take a stunning Scenic Flight to Milford Sound from Queenstown, with our fly cruise fly package including a 2-hour Cruise. Milford Sound is New Zealand's premier tourist destination, and the sheer scale and staggering beauty of the fiord are experienced from all viewpoints. We will fly you from Queenstown over the Southern Alps with breathtakingly spectacular and endless panoramic views of lakes, forested river valleys, waterfalls, jagged razor-backed ridge lines and snow covered peaks. After landing at Milford we will choose whether to take the shuttle bus or, if time permits, take you on a short walk through the bush and foreshore to the cruise boat. Once on the boat, you will take a leisurely cruise along the whole length of the fiord. After the cruise, your pilot will escort you back to the aircraft for the return flight to Queenstown along a different flight path.

5.00We could not rate this more highly. The Milford Sound cruise was excellent, but the flight was WOW, WOW, WOW off the planet WOW!!!! Our pilot was Luke and he was completely outstanding. Not only did he brilliantly fly the plane through challenging terrain, and simultaneously give an informed commentary, but his people skills were priceless. He gave a special hand and care to the older and younger passengers, and did so with a genuine care that cannot be taught or learnt, it just comes from being a thoroughly decent human being. Cannot recommend this experience more highly.

5.00Amazing experience. Luke our pilot was brilliant. Really informative, competent and kind. I would totally recommend this trip. If you can, have some flexibility around when you go as Mother Nature can mean changes to plans. Bec in the office was super on communicating.

5.00True South flights are exceptionally professional and provided my family with an unforgettable experience. We were scheduled for a Sunday flight, but due to poor weather conditions our tour got cancelled. They made every effort to get us on a later flight during the week, and we were impressed with their approach to safety. We conducted our tour today and our pilot Luke was friendly, knowledgeable and extremely competent. As we flew over the alps he pointed out all the features and specific mountain ranges. Our cruise on Milford sound was equally impressive and we were blessed with sunny weather and stunning vistas.
