What To Expect
Milford Sound
Take a stunning Scenic Flight to Milford Sound from Queenstown, with our fly cruise fly package including a 2-hour Cruise. Milford Sound is New Zealand's premier tourist destination, and the sheer scale and staggering beauty of the fiord are experienced from all viewpoints. We will fly you from Queenstown over the Southern Alps with breathtakingly spectacular and endless panoramic views of lakes, forested river valleys, waterfalls, jagged razor-backed ridge lines and snow covered peaks. After landing at Milford we will choose whether to take the shuttle bus or, if time permits, take you on a short walk through the bush and foreshore to the cruise boat. Once on the boat, you will take a leisurely cruise along the whole length of the fiord. After the cruise, your pilot will escort you back to the aircraft for the return flight to Queenstown along a different flight path.

The flight into Milford Sound was breathtaking, with stunning views of snow-capped mountains, waterfalls and scenery that looked straight out of a postcard. The cruise was fantastic and the fly-cruise-fly option was the perfect way to see as much of Fiordland as possible. A special shout out to our pilot Luke, who was amazing. He was friendly, professional, knowledgeable and made the whole experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. His commentary throughout the flight was excellent and really added to the trip. If you’re visiting Queenstown, this is a must-do experience. Worth every cent and a memory we’ll never forget! 🚁🏔️✨

5.00Unbelievable experience, I can’t recommend it enough! Luke was our pilot, and he did a fantastic job, and we especially enjoyed his insights into the landscape and history. We had an amazing time at Milford Sound, and the flights were the standout for sure.

5.00We would told by any friends that went to NZ that this was a must do trip- and to do the air/cruise vs drive the long distance. It did not disappoint! We got lucky with the weather and had great views from the plane and the boat cruise. Everyone was friendly, informative and welcoming from the shuttle driver to pilot to folks on the boat.

5.00A very nice experience to fly with true south flight. Everything was smooth and even on reschedule to different dates was fast and easy due to bad weather in NZ. Go by plane is great able to see the skyline of Queenstown and only take half a day to complete the Milford tour.
