What To Expect
Milford Sound
Take a stunning Scenic Flight to Milford Sound from Queenstown, with our fly cruise fly package including a 2-hour Cruise. Milford Sound is New Zealand's premier tourist destination, and the sheer scale and staggering beauty of the fiord are experienced from all viewpoints. We will fly you from Queenstown over the Southern Alps with breathtakingly spectacular and endless panoramic views of lakes, forested river valleys, waterfalls, jagged razor-backed ridge lines and snow covered peaks. After landing at Milford we will choose whether to take the shuttle bus or, if time permits, take you on a short walk through the bush and foreshore to the cruise boat. Once on the boat, you will take a leisurely cruise along the whole length of the fiord. After the cruise, your pilot will escort you back to the aircraft for the return flight to Queenstown along a different flight path.

5.00Couldn’t be more stoked with our day. The Flight to Milford sound was better and safer than some domestic flights I have been on. Our pilot Andrew was fantastic and narrated the flight well and took us over some glaciers and snow capped mountains. The trip on the boat was as is described in other reviews we had read, unmatched anywhere on New Zealand! Highly recommended doing this trip

5.00This was an unforgettable day and definitely one for the bucket list. Flying over Milford Sound was so beautiful, seeing things that would take years to explore on foot in moments. Snow topped mountains, glaciers, ice blue waterways and birds eye views of the most pretty towns and thats just the flight there. The cruise really gives you the perspective of how massive the mountains are and how beautiful nature truely is. Waterfalls, seals, and stunning views!! Josh our pilot was fantastic, he knew I felt a bit off on the flight there, so made sure he did everything to make the experience better for me and the other passengers. Do this one for yourself and/or take your loved ones for an experience you'll never forget. Thanks to my husband for joining me, your smile as co-pilot made my day so much better.

5.00Flew with Josh out here and he was amazing. Kept us informed of our surroundings both ways up and back. That helped the flights feel quicker and learn a bit about the areas, you get to see things you wouldn’t by driving. True gentleman and even took photos for us when we got out the plane. Everything from the pick-up from the hotel with Sam and the very friendly invite from him and our pilot Andrew that showed all of us their wealth of knowledge on our travels, to the magnificent scenery and views of the waterfalls, landscape, and sea life. I would highly recommend if you are thinking of going to do it!!!
