What To Expect

Milford Sound

Take a stunning Scenic Flight to Milford Sound from Queenstown, with our fly cruise fly package including a 2-hour Cruise. Milford Sound is New Zealand's premier tourist destination, and the sheer scale and staggering beauty of the fiord are experienced from all viewpoints. We will fly you from Queenstown over the Southern Alps with breathtakingly spectacular and endless panoramic views of lakes, forested river valleys, waterfalls, jagged razor-backed ridge lines and snow covered peaks. After landing at Milford we will choose whether to take the shuttle bus or, if time permits, take you on a short walk through the bush and foreshore to the cruise boat. Once on the boat, you will take a leisurely cruise along the whole length of the fiord. After the cruise, your pilot will escort you back to the aircraft for the return flight to Queenstown along a different flight path.

An amazing trip and super friendly staff - Michael our pilot was knowledgeable, pointing out all the mountains and landmarks, and had great banter! Having driven to Milford sound before, this was a fun alternative and made for a great new years day trip! Thanks again!

Amazing trip and super friendly staff! Michael the pilot was super knowledgeable and great for pointing out mountains etc on our flight. The girl (sorry can’t remember your name!) that picked us up was also super friendly and was more than happy to drop us back into town. Thanks again!

It's a super cool experience and our captain has passion to give information to all of us onboard. You can have a breathtaking view over snow capped mountain on flight and then enjoy spectacular scenery of Milford Sound on the cruiseship.

We flew with Jason today, and had an incredible experience. Excellent pilot and would highly recommend. The flight there and back was breathtaking and exceeded all our expectations. The cruise was amazing as well, with an informative and entertaining staff. A definite must do!

Fabulous flight out and back with truly professional pilot. His commentary enroute was first class and the views were amazing. The cruise was nice and gives a great perspective of the fjord. However, the boat was very overcrowded on the upper deck and distracted somewhat from the experience. But still well worth the tour.

What an awesome experience! From pickup, to shuttle to cruise, and back, all was easy and done efficiently. Flight took us over magnificent landscapes and was a fast way to reach Milford Sound. Cruise was great as well, but we all agreed the flight is what made it. Dan, our pilot, was such a great guy, pointing out highlights, and making sure we were comfortable. Thanks for everything!

Flying from Queenstown over the snowy mountains and landing in Milford Sound was absolutely incredible. The views were unreal, and the flight itself was a highlight of our trip. Tamnay, our pilot and guide, was fantastic — friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience feel easy and fun. This was an unforgettable way to see Milford Sound and something I’d highly recommend while visiting Queenstown.

Spectacular, I would highly recommend this if you want to truly savour the immense beauty of the area. Our pilot Tanmay was awesome with great commentary. The boat was good but was crowded on the upper deck but the commentary from the captain was great.
