Flying across the Southern Alps, out to the West Coast and the Tasman Sea before flying through the Fiord itself to land in Milford Sound.
Once in Milford, your pilot will accompany you to the boat terminal. Discover the natural wonders of Milford Sound aboard your cruise vessel with open-air viewing decks, a perfect location for some wildlife spotting. The Fiord is home to fur seal colonies, penguins, and dolphins, who love playing in the wake of the boat. You will cruise the length of the Fiord out to the Tasman Sea with a pass under Sterling Falls on the return.

What To Expect
Milford Sound
Once in Milford Sound, your pilot will accompany you from the airport to the boat terminal. Everything is organised for you, you don't have to worry about a thing! Step on board your cruise lasting at least 1hr 45mins, you will travel the length of the Fiord and out to the Tasman Sea. Stopping at waterfalls and points of interest along the way, if you're lucky you'll also get to experience the local wildlife - the dolphins love playing in the wake of the boat!

Brilliant Time Thanks To Glenorchy Air

5.00We booked the fly,cruise, fly from Queenstown and what a fantastic day we had thanks to Glenorchy Air. They phoned us the day before to confirm our telephone number and pick up time. On the day the pick up was on time and took us to the airport where check in was so easy. Our pilot was Annabelle and what a lovely friendly professional person she was. The flight was lovely and smooth with great commentary from Annabelle throughout the flight giving us lots of information. On arrival at Milford Sound we were met and almost straight onto a coach for a quick trip to the boat. Again we didn’t have to wait long before we were on board and off for a 105 min cruise around Milford Sound. On board Glenorchy Air had reserved tables for us which was nice. Free hot drinks were available and snacks to purchase. Again a lovely time cruising with great commentary. A nice number of people on board so there was never any problem getting some great photos. At the end of the cruise Annabelle was there to meet us and she was just as brilliant on the return journey. We couldn’t compliment Glenorchy Air higher and can see how they have been winning awards. If only others were as good as these.

5.00From check in to farewell this company went above and beyond to make our tour unforgettable. The customer service was outstanding, at check in we knew exactly what we had to do. Our pilot met us and lead us the whole way we never once had to question where we were meant to be. The flight was breathtaking, the cruise informative and so good to get up close to this nature wonder. We never felt like we were on a timeframe, I just loved the gentle “maybe go to the toilet on the boat” to keep us on schedule without us realising. I would advise flying with this company our safety and comfort was paramount, the communication was excellent and you could tell our pilot loved what he did and by the end of our tour we were in awe as well.
Do the Milford Sound Cruise then fly back.

5.00The scenic cruise to Milford Sound was made even more spectacular by flying back to Queenstown with Annabelle our pilot. She is friendly, informative and highly competent. The trip was exciting and the views from the airplane absolutely stunning.

5.00OMG what an incredible experience. I said i dont know what i paid for this tour but it wasn't enough. The flight was terrifying but exhilarating and astounding. The boat ride was stunning as well. Everyone was beyond friendly. We especially love Ivan our shuttle driver and Joseph our pilot was not only nice to look at but very professional and a great guide.

5.00What an incredible adventure today with Glenorchy Air. From pickup to flight, cruise, flight back with pilot Michael (so grateful for his experience from someone that dislikes heights). Loved the commentary while looking at all the wow views their and back. Very smooth flight. The glaciers and rivers of the Southern Alps then the cruise to see the many waterfalls after so much rain the day before. The day really did seem so unreal. This has to be on everyone's bucket list when they visit Queenstown. Thankyou Glenorchy Air you really know how to make a special day for all your customers. I put this day ahead of Grand Canyon sunset helicopter trip and that is saying something.
