Flying across the Southern Alps, out to the West Coast and the Tasman Sea before flying through the Fiord itself to land in Milford Sound.
Once in Milford, your pilot will accompany you to the boat terminal. Discover the natural wonders of Milford Sound aboard your cruise vessel with open-air viewing decks, a perfect location for some wildlife spotting. The Fiord is home to fur seal colonies, penguins, and dolphins, who love playing in the wake of the boat. You will cruise the length of the Fiord out to the Tasman Sea with a pass under Sterling Falls on the return.

5.0Outstanding experience - so beautiful; felt very safe, amazing scenery and we lucked out with great weather. Flights and cruise both presented different views of this gorgeous region. Great way to save time to avoid having to drive the 8 hours round trip from Queenstown to Milford.
If you get lucky with the weather, you MUST do this trip!!

5.0This tour is incredible and I 1000% recommend it!! We did two tours with this company. On the day of our scheduled plane ride/cruise, it was too windy for the plane to land in Milford Sound for the cruise, so we elected to continue with just the plane tour portion. This provided sweeping overhead views of the area, including flying over Milford Sound. I will say that this provided similar (outstanding) views to those we saw flying into Queenstown. We then decided to rebook for a plane/cruise, and weather made it possible for us to go on this day, and it was an unforgettably incredible experience. Not only did we miss the 8 hour road trip back and forth to the sound but also witnessed incredible sights as we landed (and took off from) in Milford Sound. There is a short walk or even shorter shuttle ride over to the ferry boat, which is also great. We had a perfect day to be out on the water! Long story short, I highly recommend booking this tour, but ideally leave some flexibility in your schedule should rebooking be necessary. Great customer service provided by this company, and ultimately could not have asked for a better experience!
