  One of the best activities we booked for our recent holiday in New Zealand. The group is quite small - ours was 13 people - which made the experience more personalised and friendly. Our guide Toby is one of the owners and he was great - super knowledgeable, approachable, and he had a few good jokes too. All of the stops along the route to Milford Sound were places we wanted to stop off at anyway and a couple of others that we maybe wouldn't have considered but really enjoyed. At no point did we feel rushed, there was even time for a tea/coffee break with a sweet treat. One of the biggest reasons we chose to do a tour instead of drive the route ourselves is so that we could enjoy the journey and scenery, without worrying about accidents or issues with our rented vehicle. This tour was one of the highlights of our trip and one of the best decisions we made. Thank you everyone at Luxe Tours!

  As this was a one-in-a-lifetime trip we wanted to make sure that we maximised our time visiting Milford Sound and the experiences along the way. We chose a Luxe Tours trip from Te Anau and were extremely impressed with the customer service from the start. The mini coach was very comfortable and water was provided for the whole day. Our driver (Murray) was absolutely fantastic and gave us a great commentary on our journey and was able to answer all our questions at each of the places we stopped at. Some of these were off the beaten track by a short walk but always with a “wow” at the end. The boat trip was fantastic and not over crowded. Everyone got to see all the wonderful sights that Milford Sound has to offer. Luxe Tours had a reserved seating area inside but we were lucky with the weather and sat on the top deck for the duration of the trip. Thank you Luxe Tours , and especially Murray, for making this part of our New Zealand tour such a memorable time.

  Very enjoyable trip in a minibus to Milford Sound with several stops. Then went on the Milford Haven boat around Milford Sound which had some spectacular waterfalls. Enjoyed a very good lunch on the boat. Excellent trip with a very good guide.

  

  

• Making wonderful memories

  Absolutely amazing day with Murray. He has so much local knowledge and he is really easy to listen too, along with being a very safe and responsible driver. We learnt so much about the locality. He even managed to track down a local and rare parrot for us, what an amazing tour. The cruise was wonderful too, money well spent and memories to last a lifetime. • An amazing tour of the Fjordland with Luxe

  We chose Luxe tours for our Milford Sound tour plus cruise. The reason being that they were a local and small organisation that wanted to provide an excellent experience to its clients. We were not disappointed. Andries was our guide / driver. He had a great style. He clearly wanted to give us an experience that was different to the bigger tour providers. He was friendly, knowledgeable and provided lots of insights along the journey, plus some off the beat walks. The Luxe style is to use smaller vans and provide more room for the clients, with some nice extra touches; drinks bottles, towels and a mid journey tea and snack. The cruise was typical of the Fjordland, in terms of weather, but we did see lots of waterfalls. Overall, thanks to Luxe, and Andries, an amazing experience.

  A great experience, from the minute we were picked by Ian our driver. It was relaxing informative and most of all fun. Everything is well organised, we even got escorted to our seats on the boat. Thanks Ian and Luke Tours for an awesome day.

  Excellent day out, well worth it. Nicky was a very informative and a fun guide. Everything went very smoothly, the bus was comfortable and easily accessible. Can highly recommend Luxe tours !!

  Absolutely loved this tour. Small group, guide set such a friendly tone and kept us one step ahead of the massive bus crowds and those trying to pick their own stop points along the way. Food selected in advance assured immediate, excellent reserved seating

  Nicki, our driver was excellent. She had plenty of little snippets and stories and looked after us well. The van was top notch, with seating in the back for only 9. There was plenty of legroom and space to manoeuvre in and out of the van. We had plenty of stops, mainly on the way back as it was raining on the way to Milford. Our cruise seemed only half full as you could easily find viewing space outside. Definitely recommend this tour.
