We did not do the tour as we cancelled the day we booked it as the amount shown we thought was in Australia dollars only to find out we were charged US dollars. We tried to email and phone to make sure it was cancelled with no response. Our tickets were not issued to us so then thought it had been cancelled but no the money was still taken from my account. Not impressed at all and would appreciate it if our money could refunded.

This is more of a commercial experience than Doubtful Wound, which is a better experience, in my opinion. However, Milford Sound is one of the best nature experiences I have ever had.

Our bus driver was wonderful. Polite, friendly and knowledgeable. The buffet lunch was better than expected. Would recommend this company for a day trip to Milford Sound.

The bus driver Rowland had excellent commentary and was a friendly man to be leading this experience. The views were beautiful, the buffet lunch was one of the best I’ve had and well worth the extra dollars. I didn’t get to see all the cool waterfalls it gets when it’s raining but still a lovely sight to see non the less

Our bus tour guide was great and very knowledgeable along our drive. He knew of the right stops to go to and how best to avoid large crowds. The cruise was equally as wonderful, with brunch and scenery just as lovely. I enjoy driving but sometimes it’s nice not to have to deal with the hustle/bustle😉

The coach ride to Milford Sound was smooth, our driver/guide, Keith was informative and provided various scenic lookout points for photo-taking, he even volunteered to take our photos. His timing was punctual and we were in good hands under his care. Great to have chosen Southern Discoveries!

The whole experience. We can’t pick one thing. It was great to be able to see so many waterfalls and get up close to the two big ones. The grandure of the mountains. Wonderful wonderful day.
