We keep things personal using our fleet of modern Mercedes vans. Enjoy your journey with no more than 16 people in a vehicle with premium features such as leather seats, panoramic scenic windows, Wi-Fi & Spotify playlists.

Collapsible wheelchairs with removable wheels can be accommodated providing the passenger is accompanied by someone who can assist them board and disembark
Please bring walking shoes, warm clothes and a rain jacket.
The flight back is weather dependant and in the case where flights are cancelled due to weather, you will return to Queenstown by van and be refunded your flight portion of your ticket.
A packed picnic lunch is included. The default choice is chicken, however you can request a vegetarian lunch until 5pm the day prior.
Please bring a reusable waterbottle on tour with us. There are multiple locations to refill during the day.

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
What To Expect
Lake Wakatipu
Start your day by meeting our friendly local guide at or near your Queenstown accommodation. You'll travel in style in a premium Mercedes van designed for touring with only 16 seats onboard. The first leg of our journey to Milford Sound transports you from Queenstown through the picturesque Southland farming country and the charming town of Te Anau, where we'll make a brief stop by the lakeside for refreshments.
Lake Te Anau
Lake Te Anau is in the southwestern corner of the South Island of New Zealand. The lake covers an area of 344 km², making it the second-largest lake by surface area in New Zealand and the largest in the South Island. It is the largest lake in Australasia by fresh water volume.

5.00An amazing experience. McAmy was brilliant and brought the whole trip to life. She was so knowledgeable. We had a 5 hour drive including various stops for photos and coffee. Wonderful sights. Then a 2 hour boat ride with amazing views. Then the scenic flight home with pilot Jim. Beautiful views. All in all a really great day

4.00Overall, the experience was great and would highly recommend! Our tour was originally booked on Wednesday and for some reason it was rescheduled for Tuesday. Thankfully, we were in Queenstown, so we could actually make the rescheduled day. However, we were not able to take the scenic flight back to Queenstown due to weather, which made for a very long day. If the tour had not been rescheduled, we would have experienced the return flight because the weather was perfect on the day it was originally scheduled. The tour guide mentioned that only 15% of flights actually takeoff because the weather is so questionable.

5.00This was a great experience. We were picked up at a convenient location in Queenstown in a large van. Our tour guide was excellent. He kept us safe and gave us so much information along the drive to Milford Sound. He also kept us right on time at each stop we made. We arrived at the boat at the exact right time. We also had a smaller boat which meant there was not a whole lot of people moving around. We could easily take photos of the beautiful sights that our captain took us to. It is a beautiful part of New Zealand. Then we were shuttled to the airport and took a 45 minute scenic flight back to Queenstown. The pilot was terrific - again kept us safe while giving us great information and taking us close to glaciers. It is a great way to see the mountain range and get back to Queenstown. Then we were taken back to Queenstown in a prearranged taxi. What a wonderful day! I highly recommend this tour.

5.00A wonderful day trip to Milford Sound. Early start, great small group and outstanding guide/driver in Chase who was so informative and fun. Many stops on the way- the scenery on route was breathtaking. All very smoothly organised. Great cruise on a small boat. And then we took the scenic flight home which was really great fun with Rob as the pilot in a very comfortable plane with every passenger (9 in total ) having a window seat. Strongly recommend this trip including the flight back.

5.00Have to be honest I had my doubts about a long drive , a boat and a small plane. I was wrong. The small coach was very comfortable and Allegra our driver was amazing ( her driving and local knowledge). We stopped lots of times and as we were a small party it was easy to jump off and on . The boat trip up Milford sound was lovely. We got assigned a super tiny plane for the return and I sat with the pilot. I’m not the greatest flyer but it was amazing and I’m glad we did it
