Every evening we use the latest weather update to choose the area around Tromso with best chances for clear skies.
At 7 pm, we pick you up outside main entrance of Radisson Blu Hotel and walk you 100 meters to our office where we show you the proper Aurora/night photography settings on your camera/mobile phone.
Then we give you warm overalls and boots, and drive you straight to the best spot. Some nights the Aurora is visible as soon as we arrive, while other evenings we relax with coffee and muffins while we wait for her.
Pick up time: 7 pm
Pick up place: Radisson Blu Hotel
Number of participants: 8 per minivan (up to 4 minivans on busy nights)

The guides were incredibly knowledgeable, passionate, and genuinely committed to giving us the best possible chance of seeing the Northern Lights. Their expertise in reading weather patterns and choosing the perfect viewing locations made all the difference. Not only did we witness breathtaking aurora displays—dancing ribbons of green, purple, and pink across the sky—but the overall experience felt magical. The team provided warm gear, hot drinks, and fascinating explanations about the science and stories behind the aurora. I felt safe, comfortable, and completely immersed in the moment.

5.00This was a great tour to 8 friends in a private minivan. Our guide Aaron was super nice, totally competent and despite bad weather conditions found great spots with clear skies and great auroras. Many thanks to Aaron for the warm and family care. The man is funny and swell.

1.00The service was poor. The photo quality was low/bad. Perhaps because the company is small, the place wasn't clean either. The drinks and snacks were also subpar. The overall quality was bad considering the cost. The driver complained that they were tired from working late the previous day. We also moved late to important viewing spots, meaning we couldn't arrive on time and ended up taking aurora photos on a nearby road instead. It seemed to be because we waited for a long time at a bad spot while the other teams moved on.

5.00Angel was a fabulous driver and guide, assisted by Nico, traversing the snowy icy roads with care, whilst b keeping track of the weather for breaks in the clouds and aurora activity, meaning we saw the lights against a fjord, then again up a mountain. And the photos he took were wonderful, thank you!
