Join us as we explore a pair of the city's trendy and historical neighborhoods, the Mill District and St Anthony Main in Northeast Minneapolis. We'll take you through the founding and growth of the "City of Flour and Sawdust" while following in the footsteps of immigrants who came to work the mills. You'll enjoy sampling food at the first Thai restaurant in Minnesota, authentic Italian pizza, home-made ice cream, divine baked goods, and the best matcha you'll ever drink.
In addition to sampling food, we will also stroll by the local Farmers Market, Mill City Museum and Guthrie Theater. You'll enjoy gorgeous views of St Anthony Falls as we walk along the Stone Arch Bridge into historical St Anthony Main. Learn about the history of both neighborhoods while touring the oldest street in Minneapolis. Get to know your fellow food-loving guests while gaining an appreciation for distinct neighborhoods that most tourists never see!

Your food tour along the river in Minneapolis starts at Gold Medal Park, where you'll meet your guide. You'll be introduced to a variety of culinary highlights in the city as you sample dishes at the first Thai restaurant in Minnesota, savor an authentic wood-fired Italian pizzeria, delight in spoonfuls of smooth homemade ice cream, and nosh on a mouth-watering artisan pastry as your stroll through the farmers' market.

Excellent tour in Minneapolis. Was in town for Vikings game. Learned a lot about the history of the city and some really tasty food along the way. Really enjoyed the walk and all the stops. Michelle was a great tour guide! Highly recommended the tour. Great thing to do.

Brian was our guide. Welcoming and knowledgeable. Proud of his home and experienced. Walked over the Mississippi! Mostly easy terrain but lots of walking. Good choices of restaurants that were very good and plenty for dinner. We went on 3pm walk. Terrific!
