We had a great tour with our guide Lily, who dedicated a lot of time and dedication to guide us. Although it was a very sunny and hot day, she used the spots in the shadows to talk about MIT and was very respectful to the group. Although she is a Harvard-student, she is very knowledgable about MIT and its student life. I can highly recommend her and the tour that she gave. She can also give you great recommendations for other spots to visit!

This was a fantastic tour. Our guide, Austin, was informative, enthusiastic, and full of stories and information. We walked through and around a variety of campus buildings, including some of the classrooms, labs, and creative spaces. It's a big campus, but we saw a lot in the approximately 90 minute tour. The tour was easy to find, and Austin was great.

Our tour guide was great but this tour was way overbooked. Tours should not be this large—I think we had 40+ ppl. No one could hear anything, it was cumbersome to get around, and I felt we spent more time trying to navigate and figure out how to position ourselves to hear the guide vs actually taking in the tour. Please stop overbooking your tours. It’s not fair to the tour guides or to the visitors.

Excellent tour of MIT. The guide, Sebastian, talked all the way through the visit and was available for questions. The anecdotes helped imagine a little more about college life at MIT. Very good!

The guide had been at MIT for a long time and you could tell he identified with the place a lot. He told us very interesting things and, above all, he allowed us to enter many buildings (in Harvard you can not enter any), and he told us why (besides, the week we did the tour was very cold, so to enter was also a plus for that). Many laboratories are glazed, so you get to see them from the outside (inside the building, outside the laboratory).

The tour was even better than I’ve imagined it’d be. We get to actually enter the MIT building and see its labs and classrooms. The guide, Austin, was great and gave us so many interesting infos. I recommend it 100%.

Free education, under certain conditions of course, is amazing for smart kids who do not have the financial means! Kudos for that! Maybe that was intentional, but the classes we visited were so outdated, they threw me back in 90s when I was teaching in university in one of eastern Europe countries. What shocked me was the guide's feedback on AI being useless, given all the AI courses advertised by MIT, kind of making you wonder if teaching is easier than implementing? Overall a nice experience.
