A hippo pod wakes you at sunrise, their bellowing grunts echoing across the seasonal lagoon. Kudus and springboks skip past as you sip on coffee, followed by giraffes and buffalos as you’re finishing a light breakfast.

Upon arrival at Maun international airport, you will be met by a Marvelous mobile safari representative who will also be your safari guide.The tour starts in Maun, and to the Okavango Delta.The guide will transfer you to the mokoro station by 4WD open sided safari vehicle (about an hour) where you will meet your and poler. The mokoro is a traditional canoe-like vessel commonly used in the Okavango Delta as a popular mode of transport, and now utilised for game viewing safaris. The mokoro excursion is a very popular activity in the Okavango Delta among guests who travel to Botswana.
