Next stop, Turtle Town, where you'll encounter Hawaii's magnificent green sea turtles (Honu) alongside reef triggerfish, butterfly fish, octopus, and other captivating marine life. Every trip is unique, guaranteeing a one-of-a-kind adventure for you and your loved ones. Keep an eye out for the rare Hawaiian monk seals. 5.00Very efficient and worked with the weather (was a bit overcast, early) by doing a little whale watching first, and reversing the order of Turtletown vs Molokini. We had fantastic conditions at both, and minimal crowds. Another hit was Sarah's whale listening device. Unbelievable experience hear them so clearly!

5.00The snorkeling trip with Mākena Coast Charters in Maui was excellent. The crew was friendly and helpful and were invested in everyone having a great experience. Also, very punctual and safety conscious. Liked that the group was relatively small in numbers compared to some other companies.

5.00This was a great tour with Sara and Matt. Great communication pre-trip. Very professional safety talk and instruction for good viewing and places to snorkel for best chance for seeing turtles. And it paid off! we saw a bunch of turtles! At one point there were four turtles swimming right with me! The Molokini crater was just so so with lots of boats and people in the area. We also saw several whales and dolphins during the trip!

5.00Lovely morning with Matt and Lucia on the Makena charter to Turtle Town and Mokolini for snorkeling! My first experience on a smaller raft and found it easier getting to know the crew than on one of the larger boat charters! Perfect way to spend our last day on Maui!!!

5.00Wonderful experience....tour guide was excellent and on time with arrival and comfortable boat with plenty of room and snacks drinks available after snorkeling. We saw many turtles and got to the crater before all the large boats and enjoyed the snorkel time there as well. Would definitely recommend this trip!

4.00Hawaii is beautiful, although snorkel conditions were rough, the captain gave us the opportunity to whale watch which was wonderful. They had ginger gummies available for motion sickness. Sandwich was delicious. Matt and Shelby were great and we’d definitely recommend the to others! They both were patient and relaxed. Great attitudes and made everyone feel comfortable.

4.00Weather caused some issues….we couldn’t visit Turtle Town and the water was really turbulent. The crew did a good job of keeping us safe and even pointing out some whales along the way. Equipment was good. Shelby was very friendly and particularly helpful. I’d do it again, but would probably go later in the day (not the 7am trip).
