5.00Lovely morning with Matt and Lucia on the Makena charter to Turtle Town and Mokolini for snorkeling! My first experience on a smaller raft and found it easier getting to know the crew than on one of the larger boat charters! Perfect way to spend our last day on Maui!!!

5.00Wonderful experience....tour guide was excellent and on time with arrival and comfortable boat with plenty of room and snacks drinks available after snorkeling. We saw many turtles and got to the crater before all the large boats and enjoyed the snorkel time there as well. Would definitely recommend this trip!

4.00Hawaii is beautiful, although snorkel conditions were rough, the captain gave us the opportunity to whale watch which was wonderful. They had ginger gummies available for motion sickness. Sandwich was delicious. Matt and Shelby were great and we’d definitely recommend the to others! They both were patient and relaxed. Great attitudes and made everyone feel comfortable.

4.00Weather caused some issues….we couldn’t visit Turtle Town and the water was really turbulent. The crew did a good job of keeping us safe and even pointing out some whales along the way. Equipment was good. Shelby was very friendly and particularly helpful. I’d do it again, but would probably go later in the day (not the 7am trip).

5.00My husband and I had a blast with Captain Matt and Sarah! We chose the morning tour and the water was perfect, we saw several turtles and got to hear whales singing! Matt and Sarah were helpful, friendly, funny, and all around a good time. We brought our own snorkel gear but they had quality equipment on board and helped folks in and out of the boat as needed.

5.00My husband and I had such a memorable experience snorkeling at the Molokini crater. Definitely something we’d recommend and do again ourselves. Sarah and Alex from Makena Coast Charters were an amazing team, and made sure we were safe and had everything we needed.

3.00Unfortunately, we only stopped at the turtle town for snorkeling. We had registered for the tour especially because of the snorkeling at Molokini Crater and were therefore very disappointed that (probably due to weather) the snorkeling did not take place there. If necessary, you could have used the time better and planned to drive to both spots (other groups could snorkel at the Molokini Crater at the same time).
