If you want to experience true Mongolian wilderness, challenge yourself a bit for this horse trekking adventure to Khagiin Khar lake or the Secret pearl of Taiga. Located 180km from Ulaanbaatar, it is a glacial lake hidden deep in the forest of Khan Khentii protected area. As the lake is inaccessible by vehicle, either foot or horse trekking is ideal for those who wants to explore pristine natural beauty through variety of terrain on horseback.

Today we will ride through more remote area in pristine nature. At the same time the route will be more challenging with swamps, little bushes and crossing river and finally arrive at the Khag lake. Settle down at the shore of the lake

After relaxing day at the lake, we'll pack and go back. We'll ride along beautiful Khag river which flows out of the Khagiin Khar lake and arrive at our starting point. Drive back to the city.
