Wonderful experience for our family, our kids are ages 9 and 13. The hike was fairly easy and we saw many many animals and insects. Our guide was very knowledgeable and helped make it interesting.

David was our tour guide and was extremely knowledgeable and has a very sharp eye. Honestly without David we would not have seen even half of the animals that he was able to find in the trees. He was able to spot howler monkeys, capuchin monkeys, sloths, and coatis. And his telescope allowed for some very close up photos of the animals as well.

10 out of 10 I loved it. My guide was amazing and knowledgeable. If you’re going to visit go in the morning when the animals are most active!

The night walk was nothing short of magical. Our guide David was exceptional: highly knowledgeable, passionate, and with an incredible ability to spot wildlife we would have completely missed on our own. Seeing so many nocturnal creatures up close in their natural habitat was truly unforgettable. What really sets this tour apart is the level of professionalism and attention to detail. Everything was perfectly organized, and we felt safe, comfortable, and fully immersed throughout the entire experience. The guide’s explanations were both insightful and engaging, adding so much value to every sighting. If you’re visiting the area, this is an absolute must-do. A unique, high-quality experience that exceeded all expectations — I would give it more than 5 stars if I could.

This was a wonderful experience! We toured early in the morning and had a guide. DONT DO THIS WITHOUT A GUIDE!!! There was another couple hiking without a guide and they stated they didn’t see any animals at all! We saw sooo many animals! Howler monkeys, sloths, birds, strange animals that looked like a raccoon and a monkey had a baby (very cool but can’t remember the name), colorful birds. The guide helped to point them out and used a monocle so we could take close up picks with our phones. The authentic yukka pancake snack and juice at the end were a wonderful treat as well. Wear bug spray.

We had the opportunity to take a guided tour of Monkey Park and it went well beyond our expectations. It was just the 2 of us as 4 cancelled last minute. Our tour guide was David, and he was awesome. Knowledgeable, engaging and joyful as well. Our 2 plus hours gave us sightings of multiple Howler and Cappuchin monkeys, a group of coatis, several sloth, poisonous frogs, and lots more wildlife. We also learned so much about Costa Rica and its history. The walk finished off with a nice freshly made snack too. Highly recommend this tour.
