Montefioralle Winery is very small family-run winery where you can enjoy the outstanding view of the old village of Montefioralle
Generally, it is always possible to taste different vintages of our wines, allowing you to better understand the importance of the aging of our wines and the unique characteristics of each vintage.

What To Expect
Enjoy the tasting of our wines – Chianti Classico, Chianti Classico Riserva, IGT and Vin Santo – at the foot of the hill of Montefioralle on our farm. We serve some lighter snacks to pair with the wine. Depending on the time of year, the tasting can be carried out in the small room above the basement, or outdoors in the square surrounded by vineyards and one of the most beautiful views in the world: the Chianti countryside and the view of the Montefioralle village. Along with the tasting of our wines, we will be happy to take you on a visit of our vineyards and our small winery, located right in the middle of our farm. There the basic processes for the production of our wine will be explained, from mashing the grapes through winemaking and aging to bottling.

5.00We enjoyed our visit to this small family-run winery. We live in wine country and have visited many glitzy wineries. It was refreshing to visit a winery that has been tended by generations, offers a short, but instructive tour and tasty homemade snacks…without any add-on charges. The first three red wines were quite nice. The Vin Santo (served in a fresh and style appropriate glass) was lovely. I do not generally like dessert wines, but this one was delicious.

2.00We chose this venue based on its high ratings, but the tour was really bad. The sommelier was disengaged and at times borderline rude, offering little explanation about the wines. The snacks were basic. There are far better options nearby. For the same price, we’ve had far superior tastings in France, Germany, and other parts of Italy. Overall, poor value for money—would not recommend.

3.00The setting of this winery is beautiful. However it seemed that our sommelier was completely uninterested in us and our questions. It is a very short tour with minimal information. The wine was good but to pay the fee it should include some interest in the customer. She spent very little time even out on the terrace with us to converse.

5.00We booked this at the very last minute during our last day in Florence and we were so glad we did. The family was incredible and the property was absolutely stunning. I will say getting back to Florence was a bit of a challenge. We took an uber to the property and then the host was kind enough to drive us down to Greve where a taxi would come pick us up.
