Excellent. Great humpback whales. Excellent knowledge from the guide. Also, nicely earned that there could be motion sickness as expected. Suggestion for future trips: Please inform the clients, that they should let young children and shorter young adults towards the front, so that they get a better view. In everyone’s excitement, everyone crowds to the front, and will block the children and shorter young adults from seeing the whales, which is quite distressing for them - as they feel ignored and that they are missing out. Also, consider playing the whale calls from underwater for a more immersive experience.

It was my first time and it was the best experience. Melissa the instructor gave hs very informative and clear information about whales, whales behaviors and sea lions behaviors. We saw so many groups of humpback whales for over 2 hours. I couldn't believe it. It was a very wonderful experience!!

A wonderful and friendly crew! We saw a group of humpbacks and some Risso dolphins. Our naturalist was great and came out near the end of the tour to answer any questions anyone had. Highly recommend 😊

Take Dramamine an hour before! Bring a warm jacket, it gets cold off the coast. Wish I had brought binoculars. Saw many whales, worthwhile experience. Don’t expect to see them for over an hour into trip was our experience. My better half got seasick.

After seeing other reviews and pictures we had high hopes of seeing whales in action and in plenty, but we had a rather disappointing tour. We have been on other whale watching tours and know what good looks like. We only had 25-30 mins of very sparse whale watching after which we turned back, most of the time was spent getting to the Moss Landing area and back. Whale sightings were very few, like the same 1-2 whales surfacing and putting out spouts, and one here and there spouting from very far away. We saw groups of sealions, it was nice but in Monterey you see them all over the place even without a tour. This tour is grossly overrated. The company has 'technically' shown us whales so there was no retour offered either.

My first whale watch since I do get sea sickness, but happy to say it was worth it! The crew advised me how to prepare for seasickness by staying in the back of boat and taking some ginger before we left! Our naturalist was informative and friendly! The whales showed up and put on a show for us breaching and flapping their tails and fins! Great experience!

This was a mother-daughter trip and it was outstanding! We had a whale just hanging out under our boat and popping up on either side for the longest time. It was unbelievable! We also saw whales breach 3 times, up close and personal. We enjoyed the entire trip!
