As one of the only places in the world to whale watch year-round, Monterey Bay is abundant with a huge diversity of sea life, and is at the top of many things to do in Monterey. As a protected marine sanctuary rich with nutrients, the Monterey Bay Submarine Canyon thrives with a bounty of breathtaking wildlife including Humpback Whales, Killer Whales, Gray Whales, Blue Whales, Sperm Whales, Risso Dolphins, Long Beaked Common Dolphin, Bottlenose Dolphin, Dall’s Porpoise, Mola Mola aka Ocean Sunfish, Jellyfish, Sea Turtles, Sea Lions, Pelicans, Sea Otters and so much more! Board the 2 largest boats in the Monterey fleet the 110ft. Princess Monterey and the 100ft Atlantis Monterey. Limited VIP upper deck seating optional upgrade for an additional charge of $20 per person at time of check in if space is available.

5.00What a great trip. Easy to get tickets easy to get onboard and the whole 3 hours was well organised . Would highly recommend this trip. We saw grey whales and dolphin Whales. Was fantastic. Finally this is such good value for money

5.00We surprised the kids with a whale watching trip and they loved it. We saw the cutest otter lounging in the water, a few dolphins and several gray whales. The crew was friendly and professional and the marine biologist on board was very knowledgeable. Kids left having learned some fun facts. Would love to come back and hopefully see home orcas maybe sometime in the Spring. Take your dremamine about an hour before the trip because it got pretty choppy and thankfully we were fine but several people got sick. Anything to make the trip worthwhile.

5.00The entire voyage was like a dream! Everyone was so welcoming and Lori our Marine scientist share so much wonderful knowledge about all the sea life in the Monterey bay. Definitely will do again soon and bring more people with me to share in this trip of a lifetime.

4.00It was really good, except we signed up through Viator for the upgraded upper deck and were charged again for the upgrade at the ticket booth. They said something about it couldn’t be done through 3rd parties. It was $20 dolllars apiece for the two of us.

2.00I've been on cruises and small boats in the Pacific Ocean. this boat was by far the most sea sick causing I've ever been on. about 45 minutes into the boat ride I got sea sick and began to vomit. my son got motion induced drowsiness. so I was terribly ill and my son was sleeping. we weren't able to enjoy the excursion. I feel like the captain could've done better at minimizing sea sickness

5.00Didn't see anything but birds, but it is the worst month to go, but trip was great and they were friendly and we got free tickets for not seeing any wild life. No expiration date, can be used anytime. So overall great time!
