The hike starts at the reception of the monteverde reserve and takes us into the incredible cloud forest for approximately 3 hours where we will focus on learning about the flora and fauna of this unique ecosystem and enjoy its beauty, we always offer a hike with small groups of no more than 6 people the service is professional and personalized since you will be accompanied by a guide with more than 8 years of experience and a nature lover. He is also a native of Monteverde and knows the reserve well.

We booked yours at relatively short notice 2 days before our tour for about 30€ / person. Originally we wanted to do a tour with him on the Curi Cancha reservation and met him there shortly before 7 am. He got there on time. Nobody else had booked except us, so we had a private tour. When we said that we hoped to see the Quetzal, he recommended that we go to Monteverde Preserve together instead (about 5 minutes further away). That was a wonderful tip, because there we actually saw 3 quetzals (1 female and 2 male) after a short time. You noticed that yours is super experienced and knows just the right spots in the park, so we can see many more animals besides the quetzals. He also explained a lot about the animals and plant species. For the 3 hour tour (admission not included in the reservation) we felt this was more than fair. We can recommend him without restriction and would book a tour with him again immediately! Muchas gracias y pura vida! 🐒🐍🦜😎
