This tour focuses exclusively on offering a high-quality guided experience, not including admission to the reserve, giving travelers flexibility to choose between two of Monteverde’s most recognized destinations: the Monteverde Cloud Forest Biological Reserve or the Curi-Cancha Nature Reserve.
Unlike other tours that include transportation or fixed tickets, we specialize in personalized naturalistic interpretation, with local guides, small group attention and an educational approach that deeply connects the visitor to the cloud forest ecosystem.
In addition, we adapt the tour to the interest of the group: bird watching, photography, botany or a quiet family experience. This makes each tour unique, enriching and tailored to the visitor.

Jeff and Kathy here from Oregon, USA. Our guide for a 5 30 pm tour was Sergio Vargas. He was awesome and we rate him 10-10! Knowledgeable, patient, with a gift for educating and so accommodating to our requests. His English is impeccable and easy to understand though he is a native of Monteverde. Thanks to his skillful eyes, we saw a viper, armadillo, sloth, Toucan, and numerous other beautiful sights. We could not have been more pleased with Sergio as a guide and the tour!
