Food is such a great way to explore a city and this tour did not disappoint. Lucas was our guide for a little over three hours and was a highlight, which is saying a lot considering all the great food we ate! Communicated morning of regarding the meeting spot, very personable and open, knowledgeable of the food/restaurants/neighborhoods we explored, everything we could have asked for. We checked off all the staples of Montreal food you’d expect (smoked meat, bagels, poutine), and some you wouldn’t. Special shoutout to the Greek cuisine at Niata, and the street gnocchi at Drogheria Fine. So happy we did this tour and couldn’t recommend enough!

Our tour guide Eric made contact with us the day before our tour to communicate some details and to ask about food preferences, allergies etc. We started with a little ice breaker of introducing ourselves to the group, which was 13 people total. This was nice as it made it easier to talk to other groups on the tour. Smoked meat and bagels were absolutely delicious as was the spanakopita. I believe the tour varies a bit between availability and weather, but the smoked meat and bagels are anchors. Our guide was fun, informative and enthusiastic. Our tour took a little over 3 hours. We would highly recommend this activity.

dominique was very pollite, full of energy for the tour despite the cold. provided the group with different options of food to try e.g meat free which was very accommodating to myself in particular as i’m very fussy with my foods. she tried her best to get me involved in the tasting which was very appreciated by all members of the group. she’s also given us recommendations for a variety of attractions and restaurants to try whilst in montreal. 10/10 very enjoyable person to be around

This is a walking/eating tour of the Mile End area of Montreal. There were many stops with lots to eat. We learned about the area and the foods we tasted. It was a very cold day. Walking from place to place was fine, but many of the places did not have enough room for a large group. We ended up standing or eating outside.
