Enjoyed this food tour with Eric, who was an amazing guide having grown up in the Mile End neighborhood! The stops were all tasty and a few of them were definitely places I wouldn’t have been able to find on my own. My favorite stop was the last one at Caffe Grazie Millie. A world class city with great food- this is a tour worthy of your time during your trip.

Mile long food tour in Montreal . Eric was our guide . He was fantastic! He had lots of great information on the different locations and story about the immigrants to montreal. These immigrants influenced the food culture of Montreal. My favourite was how poutine became a popular dish in Montreal . A man was going to the drive through and asked to have cheese curls added to his french fries and gravy . The waitress thought it was a terrible idea and labeled it poutine ( what a mess ) . The dish grew on popularity to become one of the most famous dishes in Montreal
