Booked through Julia Travel. The overall experience was amazing. However, the length of the tour does not allow you to explore all of Montserrat. The length of time only allowed you to quickly see the Madonna, the Basílica and a quick run through the shop. I would recommend increasing the tour by an hour to two hours. That would allow you to take the cable car to the top and hike out to Saint Michael’s Cross. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable. However, she was very stern and strict on time. We were not permitted to ask questions along the way on the tour. She was pleasant but very regimented.

This is a must see! The cable car ride up the mountain was amazing. Being inside the bascillica was spiritually moving! The architecture and history of this monastery is incredible - our guide was wonderful and the bus driver kept us safe going around the twists and turns of the road up and back down.

Enjoyable trip up to the monastery but not enough time up there. Feel the group was too large. Guide was alternating between English and Spanish so time lost to repetition.
