Here, visit the Montserrat Monastery and, if option selected, a boutique historic winery. Set within a 10th century castle, tour the vineyards and head to the wine cellar to learn about wine production and taste three exquisite wines and a local tapas lunch.

Tours start at 8:30 a.m. or 9:45 a.m. (depending on the season). Please arrive 20 minutes before the start time because check-in is required at our office before proceeding to the buses area.
Groups are limited to 20 people per guide, though in rare cases may increase to 22. Transportation is shared with other groups.
Comfortable clothes and walking shoes are recommended. Montserrat and the winery may have more extreme temperatures than Barcelona—check the forecast and dress accordingly. Bring water, especially in summer.
The tour is not wheelchair accessible, but service animals are allowed. For reduced mobility, contact us before booking to discuss arrangements.
Infants (3 years or younger) join free of charge but are not provided with car seats or meals.
Dietary restrictions or allergies are accommodated without advance notice.
We often work with boutique, family-owned wineries. Due to logistics, the winery may vary from Oller del Mas.
Tour timings are approximate and may vary due to traffic, weather, or unforeseen events. We recommend avoiding scheduling other activities immediately after the tour to allow for potential delays.
We follow all health and safety guidelines issued by authorities to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
What To Expect
Once in Barcelona Nord Bus Station, check-in at our Castlexperience office. Arrive 20 minutes before the tour starts to check in before proceeding to the buses on the ground floor.

Enjoy a guided tour in Montserrat and visit all the highlights of the monastery by the hand of your local tour guide. You will then enjoy some free time to a palate some traditional foods made by Montserrat monks or farmers, as well as soaking in this special place where nature, culture and spirituality meet.

5.00This is the second time I’ve done this tour, this time with my sister and it did not disappoint. It was absolutely fantastic and informative, with a brilliant insight into not only the monastery, but also the exquisite vineyard where we sampled some gorgeous wines. Huge shout out to Mayi who went above and beyond for us today - we had such a blast and this is a must-do when in Barcelona (obviously why I did it twice!!)

5.00What a fantastic trip up Montserrat and down to the Oller Del Mas Vineyard. Stunning views, a lovely cultural visit to the monastery, so much history to be seen, with local market sellers too (the sesame almonds are to die for). The guides are a real credit to you at Castle Experience Tours, Berta was ours who was just a bright ray of sunshine all day and couldn't have been more helpful or lovely. Of course a huge shout out to the English guide/guy, Anthony! Fun, humorous staff who clearly love what they do.
