Set within a 10th century castle, tour the vineyards and head to the wine cellar to learn about wine production and taste three exquisite wines and a local tapas lunch.

Tours start at 8:30 a.m. or 9:45 a.m. (depending on the season). Please arrive 20 minutes before the start time because check-in is required at our office before proceeding to the buses area.
Groups are limited to 20 people per guide, though in rare cases may increase to 22. Transportation is shared with other groups.
Comfortable clothes and walking shoes are recommended. Montserrat and the winery may have more extreme temperatures than Barcelona—check the forecast and dress accordingly. Bring water, especially in summer.
The tour is not wheelchair accessible, but service animals are allowed. For reduced mobility, contact us before booking to discuss arrangements.
Infants (3 years or younger) join free of charge but are not provided with car seats or meals.
Dietary restrictions or allergies are accommodated without advance notice.
We often work with boutique, family-owned wineries. Due to logistics, the winery may vary from Oller del Mas.
Tour timings are approximate and may vary due to traffic, weather, or unforeseen events. We recommend avoiding scheduling other activities immediately after the tour to allow for potential delays.
We follow all health and safety guidelines issued by authorities to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.

What To Expect
Once in Barcelona Nord Bus Station, check-in at our Castlexperience office. Arrive 20 minutes before the tour starts to check in before proceeding to the buses on the ground floor.

5.00We had a lovely day tour to Montserrat. We were able to hear the choir of boys of La Escolanía live. Visiting the organic winery was a great learning experience. Our guide Ivan G. was exceptional - he was genuine, knowledgeable and engaging - you could tell that he really wanted us to have a good experience. I would highly recommend this tour and tour company.

5.00We had booked the Montserrat tour based on recommendations from friends and family. The check in process was very easy and we were assigned Xavi as our guide. He provided an excellent history lesson on Barcelona during the ride to Montserrat and made it funny and interesting with maximum audience participation. Once we reached Montserrat he explained the rules, where to meet up once we split off and at what time. The history tour of the monastery was excellent and then when talking about the farmers selling cheese I can never forget the line " We love Jesus and our cheeses" . He also added in his family connection to Montserrat and that was a beautiful story and made us understand the connection between Catalans and Montserrat. On the drive back Ivan did a good job as well and pointed out some interesting sights. Xavi also answered any questions my wife and I had. We highly recommend a tour with Castlexperience and if you get Xavi as your guide it will be icing on the cake.

5.00This was a lovely tour. Mariana was fantastic. My only "complaint" is that when booking it's easy to pick a different version of the excursion than you intended so double check when choosing. Otherwise, I highly recommend this especially if you're looking to get out of the city a little bit and see the countryside.

5.00we were fortunate that the coach got overbooked and joined Mariana and three other travelers in a private van. Having her to ourselves was an absolute bonus with someone who was so passionate about history and wine! Mariana checked in frequently that we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. Never intrusive but always participative. we thank her so much :)
