Here, visit the Montserrat Monastery and, if option selected, a boutique historic winery. Set within a 10th century castle, tour the vineyards and head to the wine cellar to learn about wine production and taste three exquisite wines and a local tapas lunch.

Tours start at 8:30 a.m. or 9:45 a.m. (depending on the season). Please arrive 20 minutes before the start time because check-in is required at our office before proceeding to the buses area.
Groups are limited to 20 people per guide, though in rare cases may increase to 22. Transportation is shared with other groups.
Comfortable clothes and walking shoes are recommended. Montserrat and the winery may have more extreme temperatures than Barcelona—check the forecast and dress accordingly. Bring water, especially in summer.
The tour is not wheelchair accessible, but service animals are allowed. For reduced mobility, contact us before booking to discuss arrangements.
Infants (3 years or younger) join free of charge but are not provided with car seats or meals.
Dietary restrictions or allergies are accommodated without advance notice.
We often work with boutique, family-owned wineries. Due to logistics, the winery may vary from Oller del Mas.
Tour timings are approximate and may vary due to traffic, weather, or unforeseen events. We recommend avoiding scheduling other activities immediately after the tour to allow for potential delays.
We follow all health and safety guidelines issued by authorities to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.

What To Expect
Once in Barcelona Nord Bus Station, check-in at our Castlexperience office. Arrive 20 minutes before the tour starts to check in before proceeding to the buses on the ground floor.

5.00Just a fantastic experience all and all! Our guide Guillem (Guillaume en Français) hehe was super! Very good at explaining the history of the Montserrat monastery, the region, the pelerine, the black Madonna and the winery. Such a great group of people too, we were only 7 so it was a very intimate and fun experience! I highly recommend it.

5.00Delph was an incredible guide for all parts of the tour. She most shined with her powers as Somm and clear connection to the national park and it's natural beauty. The tour had fantastic pacing with information about history on the bus and off. Enough time to roam the look and nap, time to wander the monestary, time to enjoy Oller del Mas as a site. A great time! If you want to hike and explore the park - you will need a different option.

5.00The Montserrat half-day tour with tapas and gourmet wines is 100% the way to go! The transportation from Barcelona to Montserrat was comfortable and a scenic ride. We are thankful to have had great bus drivers for that very windy ride up the mountain. Our guide Guillem was the best. His knowledge of the history of Montserrat really added to our experience. Then, he guided us through the beautiful Oller del Mas winery and tasting with tapas. We were not expecting this part to be at such an amazing winery and it far exceeded our expectations. The wines are exceptional. We would recommend every aspect of this tour including our guide Guillem and his peer guides that accompanied the other groups on our bus. Great and very memorable day!

The tour had fantastic pacing with information about history on the bus, off the bus, and everywhere else! Lucking out on picturesque views and an intimate group made it all the better. Incredible value, and departure and arrival were right on time. Fantastic for couples or solos.
