Tours start at 8:30 a.m. or 9:45 a.m. (depending on the season). Please arrive 20 minutes before the start time because check-in is required at our office before proceeding to the buses area.
Groups are limited to 20 people per guide, though in rare cases may increase to 22. Transportation is shared with other groups.
Comfortable clothes and walking shoes are recommended. Montserrat and the winery may have more extreme temperatures than Barcelona—check the forecast and dress accordingly. Bring water, especially in summer.
The tour is not wheelchair accessible, but service animals are allowed. For reduced mobility, contact us before booking to discuss arrangements.
Infants (3 years or younger) join free of charge but are not provided with car seats or meals.
Dietary restrictions or allergies are accommodated without advance notice.
We often work with boutique, family-owned wineries. Due to logistics, the winery may vary from Oller del Mas.
Tour timings are approximate and may vary due to traffic, weather, or unforeseen events. We recommend avoiding scheduling other activities immediately after the tour to allow for potential delays.
We follow all health and safety guidelines issued by authorities to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.

What To Expect
Once in Barcelona Nord Bus Station, check-in at our Castlexperience office. Arrive 20 minutes before the tour starts to check in before proceeding to the buses on the ground floor.

5.00Overall, this was a great experience and I would definitely recommend it. Yerai was an excellent guide, he was funny, clear, and made the tour really enjoyable. He took us to a variety of interesting places and was very open to answering questions along the way. The free time built into the itinerary was a nice touch and appreciated. The group size felt comfortable, and the bus was clean and well organized. Check-in was smooth and the meeting point instructions were generally clear. The only minor challenge was some ongoing construction at the bus terminal, which made the entrance a bit tricky to find at first. Once we got past that, everything else was straightforward and well managed. Would happily book again.

3.00To be fair we were suffering from jet lag and found the day a bit long with a bit too much highway driving. If we had more energy maybe we would have availed ourselves of the walking opportunities. The tour should have included the art gallery; and the winery part, though pleasant occupied too much time and seemed to be geared towards getting us to buy wine. The mountain landform was amazing but the church left me a bit cold after seeing La Familia…. Finally too much time was spent soliciting tips. Xavi was humours and knowledgeable to his credit

5.00Toni from the start was a lovely guide and the tour was a good length. He educated the tour group with the rich history of Catalonia and Barcelona and always added his humor throughout the day. His was very good at communicating the itinerary and providing the group ample time to spend on our own. Recommend to go early to beat the crowds. The vineyard was definitely a beautiful experience to cap it off.

1.00Monserrat is absolutely worth the visit, but this tour was terrible. We waited up at the castle for over an hour for our bus to get back to us. The winery was pretty, but it didn’t really look like they made the wine there and the wine was terrible. The tapas were stale and did not live up to the advertising. I would find a different way to go to this beautiful place.

5.00Great tour. Our guide Vince had a great sense of humor as he showed us beautiful Montserrat and hosted our wine tasting. Bus took us with multiple other groups to Montserrat and the thousand year old winery. I highly recommend booking the wine tasting and tapas add on.
