Here, visit the Montserrat Monastery and, if option selected, a boutique historic winery. Set within a 10th century castle, tour the vineyards and head to the wine cellar to learn about wine production and taste three exquisite wines and a local tapas lunch.

Tours start at 8:30 a.m. or 9:45 a.m. (depending on the season). Please arrive 20 minutes before the start time because check-in is required at our office before proceeding to the buses area.
Groups are limited to 20 people per guide, though in rare cases may increase to 22. Transportation is shared with other groups.
Comfortable clothes and walking shoes are recommended. Montserrat and the winery may have more extreme temperatures than Barcelona—check the forecast and dress accordingly. Bring water, especially in summer.
The tour is not wheelchair accessible, but service animals are allowed. For reduced mobility, contact us before booking to discuss arrangements.
Infants (3 years or younger) join free of charge but are not provided with car seats or meals.
Dietary restrictions or allergies are accommodated without advance notice.
We often work with boutique, family-owned wineries. Due to logistics, the winery may vary from Oller del Mas.
Tour timings are approximate and may vary due to traffic, weather, or unforeseen events. We recommend avoiding scheduling other activities immediately after the tour to allow for potential delays.
We follow all health and safety guidelines issued by authorities to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.

What To Expect
Once in Barcelona Nord Bus Station, check-in at our Castlexperience office. Arrive 20 minutes before the tour starts to check in before proceeding to the buses on the ground floor.

Enjoy a guided tour in Montserrat and visit all the highlights of the monastery by the hand of your local tour guide. You will then enjoy some free time to a palate some traditional foods made by Montserrat monks or farmers, as well as soaking in this special place where nature, culture and spirituality meet.

5.00We really enjoyed the tour. Lorena was a great tour guide, she is knowledgeable, helpful and very nice. The vineyards Oller de Mas are extremely beautiful. We will definitely recommend this tour to our friends and family visiting Barcelona in the future. We rate the tour a 10.

Lesley was informative and articulate in explaining the history of the region and she was extra kind after I was separated from the group for a short time when seatbelt left me trapped in the tour bus before they left. All worked out in the end!

5.00The tours was even better than expected. The site was amazing, our guide, Sophia was knowledgeable, personable and made the experience great. The winery was outstanding and Sophia was an expert on their history, process and they types of wines we tasted. The entire day was great!

4.00Montserrat tour including the shrine , history, tips for the mato e mel were excellent. Recommend this tour before visiting the Sagrada Família. wish I had spent more time at Montserrat and gone up the hill to the cross. The winery visit was not good at all and better to skip. I have done wine visits earlier and this was no match. The winery does not seem to be working and the tapas was of poor quality. Ivan did a very good job in explaining things and even explained about the wines very well. I will definitely go with him again.
