David was wonderful! He was friendly, well informed and high energy. The beauty of nature there was magnificent and the hike moderate. If you are fully mobile, its great. The monastery is no Sagrada Familia, but the mountains and the tour make up for it.

Our tour guide Jordi was excellent, very knowledgeable and patient. We had a group of 10 which included 2 older adults, 4 adults, and 4 children ages 7, 9, and 10. Jordi made it interactive for both the children and the adults and kept the tour interesting throughout.

From start to finish, our guide was simply brilliant. Very knowledgeable about Barcelona and the Montserrat region and he shared the history of the monastery and how the mountain range came to form over the many thousands of years. The views from the top looking back over the monastery to the valley are stunning. The size of the group is perfect and we had plenty of tome at the end to explore the shops and markets that were there. I would recommend this tour to anyone who wishes to explore the area.

This was an amazing day out, and our tour guide (James?) was brilliant. Very knowledgeable and patient with everyone despite multiple languages amongst the group and made sure everyone understood what he was saying at every information point. Every part of this tour was scenic and beautiful, with just the right amount of free time. Definitely take water with you for the walk!

Our travel to Montserrat was more than we expected. Certainly rich is religious and cultural history, it was also a reminder of the sacredness of nature’s cathedral. Our guide Alan was both knowledgeable and informative, an excellent storyteller and naturalist. Our time lasted six hours, truly a half day.

This experience was awesome. Ferrand was our guide, and he was really good at what he did. He offered the perfect amount of information while also giving us out own time to go explore. The van is a very comfortable ride, Ferrand is both your guide and driver and he is great a both. The small group size makes it so that you can get the information really easily and everyone in the group was super respectful of time. I am so glad I went with this, having someone who knows the ropes really makes the experience so much better than if you try and navigate it by yourself. You start with the hour-ish ride, park and go see the monastery before it gets to crowed (very thankful we went when we did), after the monastery you ride up the funicular (amazing views and we went at perfect timing to get the best spot), and then you get to walk down, so you get all the best views without any of the harsh uphill walking. After that you get some free time before you head back, and you really have the rest of your day, it is a perfectly timed and well thought out tour that I highly recommend!

It was so easy to book this tour. The details of meeting point and what was included was very helpful. Our tour guide was James, and he was very knowledgeable and patient with us as we are seniors and moved a little slower. He never made us feel rushed and really took the time to explain things and answer any questions. It is a great way to experience Montserrat and take in a hike (most of it was gentle downhill). A great way to see Montserrat and not have the hassle of driving. Once again thanks to James for his patience and knowledge.
