Montana de Montserrat

The Rocky Massif of Montserrat has been declared as Natural Park in 1987, and characterised by the rounded shape of its peaks. This incredible 4000-foot wonder is easily recognizable by its ''serrated'' top from which it got his name. Once you reach the monastery, you have plenty of options and your guide will always adjust to your interests. We invite you to take an easy walk of around 30 min to enjoy one of the most astonishing views of the natural park, but if you wish you can also decide to enjoy other activities that the mountain offers.

Great tour. Roman was very knowledgeable and enjoy what his job. He is like the passionate version of ChatGPT of Barcelona and many destinations. Pick up was on time - driving was smooth. Would recommend anyone who visit Barcelona. He takes good photos too and controls the pace well.

Did this trip with guide Laura and driver Roberto. Prompt pickup at our hotel . On the way to Montserrat, Laura told us about the areas of Barcelona we were driving thru. At the site, she knew how to avoid the long lines and maximize our time. Gave us good guidance for our free time. Vowledable Driver Roberto and guide Laura picked us up promptly at 8:30. On our way to Montserrat she gave us information about the areas we were driving thru. Once at Montserrat she knew how to maximize our time. She had all tickets pre Prepurchasd. During free time she gave us multiple choice. V Overall a Overall a wonderful experience.

We decided to go ahead with this tour even though we knew rain was likely since we figured it would be raining in Barcelona too. Alex, our guide, picked us up promptly and it turned out that we were the only 2 going. He drove us up the winding roads safely, with some very heavy rainfall. There was practically no visibility when we got to the Monastery so trails were definitely out. We enjoyed the tour of the Montestery, where Alex explained the history and what to look for when we entered (no talking inside). When we finished there we visited the museum which housed many beautiful works by many well known artists. Definitely worthwhile. In hindsight, we probably should have chosen something else to do on a rainy day.

Alba was fabulous, she has such a deep and detailed knowledge of the area and was a lively and engaging host. Absolutely 5 stars for Alba, our only regret is that we would have loved more time, at least another hour, to explore the area.
