The experience was horrible at the beginning because we were informed by the provider that the guide had some issue and he could not come and they could not find a replacement in that morning. We were so frustrated and disappointed as we woke up at 7am and had a rush breakfast due to this trip. They finally rescheduled our tour to the afternoon. Fortunately, our new guide Javi was so nice. He was funny and also knowledgeable. He shared with us a lot abut the history of montserrat monastery. The scenery was stunning and breathtaking. Our family even did a hike. The afternoon trip went well and all of us enjoyed it so much.

We had a great time. It was wonderful to go early in the day as it was very warm by the afternoon. Adele did a wonderful job as our guide. She was very informative about Montserrat. Our driver was Juan Carlos who also did a great job getting there and back.

We enjoyed our trip to Monserrat! Our tour guide, Alba, gave us a terrific tour of the site! She also gave us plenty of time to explore the place on our own which was nice. The driver was also terrific and did a great job from getting us from Barcelona to Monserrat! If we had another day in Barcelona. We would definitely take her tour to the Gothic Quarter. We highly recommend this tour and it was an awesome and unforgettable experience!

My family had a wonderful tour with Matt! He picked us up in a van right on time and my family of 4 were also with 3 other people. Matt spoke about Montserrat throughout the ride there and everything was very interesting. It took around 45 minutes to get there as there was no traffic Sunday morning. We stayed with the group until we saw the Church which was beautiful. Matt offered to take pictures of us in front of it and they came out wonderful! After that, we were on our own and we went on the furnicular up to the top of the mountain which gave us just the right amount of time to enjoy the mountain, walk and take pictures before coming back down. Make sure to go up early before a line forms and take into account a half an hour buffer before you need to get back to your group if you’re on top of the mountain. The furnicular was scary to see it being so steep but it was completely safe and stable going up and down. The views were breathtaking from the top as well. Overall, this was a worthwhile tour and Matt was a great tour guide. He was also very engaging with my kids and they enjoyed listening to him. We had a choice to be dropped off anywhere in the city or back at our hotel and we went back to get some rest. The amount of time we had was perfect as we had the rest of the day since we started early. Definitely go for this tour! You won’t regret it!

The trip advisor had the wrong tickets so two family members could take the tour and we will be addressing this with Viator for refunds and probable cancellations of other trips already scheduled.
