The itinerary is completely flexible and you can start this 5-hour tour in the morning or the afternoon. This excursion includes personal service, air-conditioned transportation, and a local expert guide. You can also extend the tour to a full-day excursion and visit a local winery (Cava Producer).
At the end of the tour we can take you to your hotel, the cruise port, or the airport. Alternatively, we can take you anywhere else in the city you wish to go. If you want to combine this tour with a skip-the-line visit to Sagrada Familia, contact us by email after booking and we will arrange an audio guided-visit for you at the end of the tour (subject to availability) - 26 Euros per person.

5.00We had a small group tour to Montserrat and the Cava region of Barcelona. Our guide, Francisco, gave us the history of the mountain and the monastery on the trip. Once we arrived we had free time to explore the monastery, take a trip to the top of the mountain or visit the local market. After our visit to the monastery, we travelled in the vineyards for our Cava visit. We arrived at a small winery and were shown the process of making Cava and tasted several different varietals. It was aoutstanding trip.

5.00Our group of five took a half-day tour to Monserrat with Barcelona Tours. The tour guide picked us up at our hotel as planned. Pick-up was on time. The guide spoke to the small group as we traveled to and from Monserrat. She walked the group through Monserrat and then gave us an enough free time to do as we wanted. Monserrat is a beautiful place, but we highly recommend doing it with a guide from Barcelona Tours. We do not hesitate to recommend this family-owned business for any tour you wish to do. 5 star from each of us. Our guide, Marta, was terrific!

5.00We did a half day tour to Montserrat with hotel pick up .From start to finish out guide Marta was wonderful .Even walking us back to hotel after bus parked (lot of traffic) in a different spot .The tour itself covered all we wished it to and had plenty if unrushed time. Would always use them on any return to Spain.

5.00We recently stopped in Barcelona on a cruise. We planned a trip to Montserrat with Barcelona Day Tours. They arranged to pick us up at the cruise terminal at 8:30 for a 5 hour tour. Armando met us promptly at 8:30 and away we went to Montserrat. Armando was a fabulous guide. We learned so much history of the surrounding area and of Montserrat from him. We all told him he should’ve been a history teacher. Armando dropped us off at the cruise terminal at the end of our tour. I highly recommend Barcelona Day Tours for anything you are planning while visiting Barcelona. There is so much to see in that beautiful city and Barcelona Day Tours will take good care of you. Communication with them prior to our arrival was excellent.
Very happy with our Guide Martha. She was very informative and worked hard to make sure we had an excellent time.

Montserrat and ArtCava Winery

5.00Joao picked us up at the port, loaded our luggage and drove us to Montserrat. On the way he chatted about the sights and culture. At Montserrat, we had skip the line tickets to visit the monastery. The mountain and monastery are magnificent. We had ample time to explore but would have loved to have had planned a full day as there are tremendous hiking trails which were quite tempting. After our visit, Joao took us to a small producer of cava (sparkling wine) for a tour of the winery and tasting. Santiago welcomed us to the winery and enthusiastically showed us around and explained the art of making cava. The tastings were generous and delicious. Joao the drove to our hotel in Barcelona. It was a fabulous day!

5.00Loved the trip. João was the perfect guide, he was knowledgeable and friendly. When he was held up by traffic, he texted me immediately to let me know he'll be a few minutes late. Visit to Montserrat is worth every penny!! João was very considerate and dropped us as close to the entrance as possible. We had plenty of time to explore the place. The visit to the Cava distillery was a surprising highlight. We didn't expect to enjoy it as much as we did. Each of us were given 5 glasses of cava to sample at no additional costs. To top it off, he conveniently dropped us at La chinata at the end of the trip after helping us to make reservations. Worth every dollar!

5.00This was an AMAZING day!! Our guide, Magdalena was so friendly and knowledgeable!! We really enjoyed her stories and the history of the area she was able to provide. She was funny and made us laugh quite a bit. The wine tour was also fun and our guide, Santiago was also funny and engaging!! Really enjoyed the full experience!!!
