What To Expect
Mapleton
Our first stop is at the top of Mapleton Falls for tea and coffee compliments of Joel's Journeys. This location offers incredible views looking over the Obi Obi Valley and subtropical rainforest all around.
Montville
A lovely ridgeline drive atop the Blackall Range will then land us in Montville Artisan Village, the prettiest and most unique little village on the hinterland. You will begin your Montville experience by indulging in some of the finest artisan Belgian chocolates in the region with a chocolate tasting included at Montville's favourite chocolate factory. You will have over an hour to explore the wonderful Montville Artisan Village and its many novelty shops, galleries and artisan delights.

5.00Joel was a very likeable young man. The knowledge of the area & the bush he had was amazing. This Montville and Malarney tour covered every aspect of what my friend & I were wanting to see. I especially enjoyed the rainforest walk.

5.00Joel is so down to earth. Patient kind and very knowledgeable with a good sense of humour. The views are amazing, food fantastic and so easy being picked up from wherever you are staying. Rainforest was spectacular. Montville is such a beautiful village. Good luck to you Joel you deserve the best.

5.00We had a great day on our Montville/Maleny tour. Joel was enthusiastic and very knowledgeable of the area and has a passion for the Australian bush. On our rainforest walk Joel was able to point out things you would never notice if walking by yourself, and also knew every bird call. We had a lovely stroll through the Montville village and received a sample box of chocolates. Enjoyed a delicious lunch at The Barn and finished the day with a wine tasting at a winery, then safely delivered back to our accommodation. I would highly recommend Joel’s Journeys Hinterland tour
