Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park
Your guide would take you to see the beautiful iconic buttes, spires and mesas that have made Monument Valley famous on part of the 17 mile loop drive. We would then go to the back country restricted areas of the Tribal Park to stand beneath the natural arches, amp theaters and get right up close to the Anasazi petroglyphs. Our guides are so kind and would explain the traditional meanings of each location, history, and culture while answering any question that you might think of. Navajo Spirit Tours does not shy away from some of the spiritual topics that you might not hear about on a regular day. We do try our best in the short amount of time that we have with each of our guests to teach as much as we can while you are here. We do look forward to meeting you!

Our guide Gary was very interesting and knowledgeable about the area. We took the higher end tour and really enjoyed the more personal experience. Being a Navajo native he was able to tell us tons of details that we would have missed otherwise. The whole thing was awesome.

Myself and three other friends, all experienced photographers, did three tours with our Navajo guide, Larsen, who was knowledgeable, a photographer himself, and fun to be with. All three tours including the strenuous but rewarding Hunt's Mesa Tour, were perfect, with our party arriving for blue hour and staying through golden hour and a bit beyond. Larson is a great and safe driver also. Navajo Sprit helped make our trip a huge success.

A spectacular experience. Open air is the only way to see everything. Our Navajo guide was unbelievably knowledgeable. There is no way you can fully appreciate the topography or the Navajo history without a guide. You are viewing 300 million years of history. Highly recommend. I booked this based on travelers reviews.

Monumental! Excellent guide who provided lots of information and clarity in pointing out the names of the mesas. You will learn which were used in movies and TVs. If you are old enough you might even remember seeing them. We had a great time and the scenery is amazing.

You get to travel on restricted roads and get close to monuments. We had Shaun, a superior guide, who shared so much knowledge and history and personal experiences. Shaun’s stories and history felt so personal and I was touched by what I learned. The three hours was like you wasn’t ready for it to end. The Bainbridge afamily

Our guide, Larsen, made the trip incredible. We learned so much Navajo history and saw things like petroglyphs we never would have found on our own. Worth it times ten!

Our family had the most incredible experience with Navajo Spirit Tours in Monument Valley. It was truly unforgettable. Having a local Navajo guide made all the difference. We were able to access restricted areas and explore the beauty, history, and sacred spaces in a way you simply can’t on your own. The views were breathtaking, but the stories and cultural insight made it so much more meaningful. Sariah was phenomenal — knowledgeable, kind, and so passionate about sharing her culture. When she played the flute for us, it was one of those goosebump moments our family will never forget. If you’re visiting Monument Valley, this tour is an absolute must. Incredible from start to finish.

We went on an amazing tour with our guide, Garry Holiday, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the surroundings, sharing detailed information about the plants and their significance to the ancient people. He also explained the rock formations and what they mean to the Navajo people, which gave us a much deeper appreciation for the land. One of the most special moments was when he played music passed down from his ancestors. He took us to a beautiful grotto where he played the flute and drum and sang traditional songs. It was such a moving experience that none of us wanted to leave when he finished. Garry also shared interesting stories about movies that were filmed in the valley. Before we even got into the vehicle, he took time to get to know each of us, which helped create a real connection between our group and the surroundings. Everyone on the tour was amazed and delighted by the experience. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants the full Monument Valley experience.
