Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park
Your guide would take you to see the beautiful iconic buttes, spires and mesas that have made Monument Valley famous on part of the 17 mile loop drive. We would then go to the back country restricted areas of the Tribal Park to stand beneath the natural arches, amp theaters and get right up close to the Anasazi petroglyphs. Our guides are so kind and would explain the traditional meanings of each location, history, and culture while answering any question that you might think of. Navajo Spirit Tours does not shy away from some of the spiritual topics that you might not hear about on a regular day. We do try our best in the short amount of time that we have with each of our guests to teach as much as we can while you are here. We do look forward to meeting you!
Duration: 3 hours: Our Monument Valley Tour would be approximately 2.5-3.0 Hours long.
Open Air Vehicle: We would reserve your tour with an open air vehicle. If you would prefer an enclosed vehicle please contact us personally.

Loved the scenery and hearing about the culture. The flute music inside the rock is so beautiful. We were really glad we went on the tour

Our tour was very well done. Sean was a great guide, not only did he keep us entertained throughout our tour, but we also learned a lot about the Navajo culture & history. It was a great experience.

It was a little too cold for an open air vehicle, which took away from scenic vistas a little. Our tour guide was very pleasant and informative. He really gave us a fascinating history lesson on Monument Valley.

This was one of the best tours we have ever experienced. Our young guide shared much of the Navajo history and how the valley came to be one of the most sought after filming locations for movies, television and commercials. The spectacular rock formations were captivating and the petroglyphs evidenced a time we can only imagine. Our guide's flute playing at one of the stops was beautiful and enriched our experience. I highly recommend Navajo Spirit Tours.

We arrived late due to delays at the entrance to the reservation. We had booked the 3.5 hour tour, which we missed. After a few phone calls, we got a place on a 2.5 hour tour, with Larry. Larry was so chilled and made up for our missed tour. Taking time around the various sites. This is a place I have always wanted to visit and it was worth it. Even the impending storm didn’t spoil our visit.

This was a good tour . We had a fun guide in an open air truck . The 3 hour tour started at the welcome center. (not the visitor center) these are different places so be mindful of this when booking your tour. When we first arrived, we went into the center to confirm our tour and pre-pay for the separate entrance fee. Note if you dont have one. you will hold up the whole group paying for one at the gate. You can bring a backpack with snacks, water, or soda. (no alcohol ) We had several stops along our tour to get out and take pictures and explore. this tour mostly consisted of going along restricted roads not offerd to the general public. I should also point out that this tour does not go all the way along the 17 mile loop you would have done if driving your own vehicle. Just something to keep in mind when booking the tour. The roads here are drivable with high clearance and maybe 4 wheel drive. even then i would not risk it in a rental car lots of pot holes, loose gravel. sharp turns and wash out areas. we had a good time during our visit. would recommend this company for sure.

Amazing tour of such a beautiful place. Our guide, Will Cowboy, was truly one of the best guides I’ve ever had on a tour. He really took time to teach us about his culture and highlight its rich history. My partner and I were very grateful for this experience.
